The sevice was very slow. We hoped with a new name for the hotel that the menu would improve. It has not. Mac and cheese for an entree was less than a cup serving with nothing else with it. Seriously, offer some fresh steamed vegetables people. The chicken alfredo was tasteless. Our group was in one of the ports with 20 people and 1 server. Really. One server.

Sat at a card table that felt like it was going to collapse. Food was not warm enough as the buffet was set up in front of the door. Fairly good selection but was hoping for some untraditional cuisine as well. At 40$ per person it was overpriced.

We arrived for lunch shortly after 1pm for lunch. There were a couple other parties there and we were seated a few tables away from them which was nice for some privacy. Our waitress was attentive without rushing us. The sandwiches were good and the scratch soup was notable. It's easy to forget about Meriwether's, but with good food, atmosphere, and service it's worth remembering.

Merriweather is just step above McDonald's. Coffee was luke warm, egg the same, toast lightly toasted and sausage was hopefully maple. All were not hot like they were just cooked. It was the only sit down restaurant that was available. We preferred Waffles and More but they were closed.

We got some really good service especially from the bartender.. I wish I could remember her name that she was pretty awesome. The food was great too.

Had the 12oz steak, was probably over seasoned, but nicely cooked 9/10 for sure. And breakfast at the place was pretty awesome, best breakfast I’ve had in a hotel stay. Obviously eggs are never the best in a buffet style setting but everything else was awesome.

Service was kind. But that was the only positive. Food was late. Food took 45min, really bad avocado and bacon was old. I had the Meriwether scramble and the on thing that was edible was the eggs and hashbrowns. The other reviews on here were so wrong. This is NOT the best in Lewiston. McDonalds would have been better.

Went for the lunch salad bar. Great food on a rotating menu! My favorite salad bar in town!

The food and service were great for our Sunday brunch, but it was obvious that they weren't adequately staffed. It seemed that everyone was trying to do multiple jobs at the same time. I felt sorry for all the servers. They took great care of our large group, however, were very accommodating, and worked hard to make our experience a good one.
