Brava's is a quaint time period restaurant that uses the old original brick architecture of over a century ago to creat a charming ambience for its guests. The food was well prepared and the large portion salad I ate was layered so you did not run into all lettuce at the bottom. The service was excellent and a nice place for a casual meal when not in a rush.
My husband and i got our food at Stax next door and wanted to get coctails to go with our lunch. Bravas has some patio tables n chairs outside in back of their restaurant that looked nice. Not a single person was out there. We had ordered a couple drinks here before without any food and the service was great! So my husband cleaned off these gross unclean tables and chairs for us and right as we're sitting down i see some lady coming out the Bravas door, yelling something, and bustling towards us. She immediately said we could NOT sit here. She was so rude and did not even ask us if we were ordering or anything!! I work in a restaurant and i would be appalled if this person worked in my business. My husband and i spend alot of money eating out. We enjoy it. I just thought the Bravas owner would like to know of this "experience " we had.

This was my first visit and we were a party of six for dinner. They don’t take reservations but they made us feel very welcome and the food was everything we hoped for. Three of our party were children under the age of 10 and as you know they can be picky about macaroni but they loved the macaroni here which came with a side of mandarin orange slices. The garlic french fries are wonderful and our service was great. If your children are well mannered they will certainly be welcome here.
Food was delicious. Ambience was terrific. Service was friendly. We went for their four course Valentine's Dinner. The kitchen got backed up, which is to be expected on a night like Valentine's. Great date night spot right downtown Lewiston.
Brava's is an absolutely fantastic place to dine out. The food is delicious, the presentation is wonderful and the atmosphere is beautiful. We have dinner there everytime we come to town.

The portions are not very big for the price and the food is ok. The customer service is fantastic though. Always very friendly and wait staff keeps an eye on you. I've been to this restaurant a couple times and I'm just not that impressed with the food. But I'm just one person with one opinion so take that into account when you read this. B- in my book.
Great food with creative twists on old favorite recipes. Our server Andrew was excellent. Friendly, professional and made perfect recommendations.
