I rarely give out 5 stars to chinese restaurants in America, but this place is great!!! A good price with the amount you get!! I also don’t usually like beef, but the Mongolian Beef is SO GOOD! It is sweet and you can choose the spicyness! Dinner combo was great too! General Tso’s chicken was yummy! Highly recommended place to dine in!
This is the best Chinese food in Idaho.It is not overly salted and the flavors are deep. The vegetables are cooked to perfection with the right amount of crunch and tenderness. The best sesame chicken and their Lo Mein is superior to all other restaurants.Just try out this place.
Great family operated restaurant. We have been there many times and ALWAYS had the best meals. The food is fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced, along with the nicest family working there. You won't be disappointed!
Three stars is telling you that the shrimp, chicken, fried rice and s&s pork were all phenomenal, because they make their pork buns with -HOT DOGS-. I was absolutely mortified when my wife bit into a pork bun and we both saw a piece of what was obviously a hot dog come out. Absolutely stunning.
I've eaten Chinese food in a dozen countries and Yummy House has some of the best ever. Despite the fact that they were understaffed (Christmas evening, COVID, 2021 labor shortage) and by the time we left every table was full (along with a steady stream of delivery/takeout business), they still managed to feed us fantastic, well-cooked food with a smile. We tried a variety of things and all exceeded expectations. I kept wanting to get up and bus tables for her, because one woman was literally running the entire front of house operation. But I realized I'd probably be in her way, or confuse her. She ran (no joke, ran) back and forth, leaning into her sprints to get to/from the kitchen. I was impressed and grateful. Whoever was in the back cooking was masterful. The variety of food coming out--even sizzling skillets and bowls and plates and platters--was crazy. I hope there was more than one person in back. Everything was fresh, crisp, fragrant, and done exactly as custom-ordered. Like I said, although I'm definitely not a foodie I eat a lot of Chinese food, and Yummy House was stellar. Thank you for making our Christmas evening family meal so delicious!
Super great place for meal either lunch or dinner. Great quality of food and portion and Great service and reasonable price. I will come back next time definitely.
We were very pleased with our experience here tonight. We got the General Tso chicken and the Kung Pow chicken. They were both very flavorful and delicious. The service was great and the portions were generous. We will definitely be back!

If you only eat at one restaurant in Idaho Falls this is the one. Family owned and run, the dining room is nothing fancy but the food is the best. I highly suggest the Singapore Rice Noodle for everyone(unless they have stomach problems, in that case House Loo Mein) one warning! The portion sizes are for sharing(large) so if you are alone make sure to order something that has a variety.
We had the curry fried rice and the Kung Pao Tofu. Both were incredibly tasty and had some of the freshest, perfectly cooked veggies I’ve ever seen at a Chinese-American restaurant. We cleaned our plates.
