Smokin Fins was a pleasant treat. Lots of unique food options. The brussel sprouts were AMAZING! I loved the creativity of the menu in addition to an eclectic array of ingredients for the pickiest foodies. The sushi was decent not incredible but not terrible. I gave it 5 stars as that did not hinder my experience here.
Came here to celebrate a birthday, in town from Colorado. Honestly did not expect for how great this restaurants food would be. Service was great- Aiden was able to handle our large party- and every single plate we ordered was delectable. Got the mango shrimp tacos - small street style sized tacos, lobster Mac -very large serving with big chunks of lobsters , coconut shrimp - so so tasty. House margaritas were tasty and not overalls salted. Greta lunch timeVibes, but I could also see it being a great date night spot.
I got the Korean salmon over pineapple fried rice. It was truly fantastic, probably some of the most flavorful fried rice I’ve ever had. Decent sized filet! The fire crack shrimp app was pretty amazing as well, didn’t snag a pic because it was gone pretty quickly. We got 3 rolls of sushi, pretty decent, but nothing truly spectacular. The salmon dish is well worth the trip!
Great Service! Great food and tasty cocktails. Very nice experience at Smokin’ Fins. Caesar w/ Grilled Salmon and the Naan Tacos were excellent. We are foodies and the seasonings etc. here are top notch. Would visit again no question.
Got sat in a back corner (never asked if we wanted to sit outside) no big deal. Server showed up quickly and asked if we wanted drinks. No beer list in the menu so he has to name them off. No Japanese beers to go along with the sushi and sake. Weird to us. Ordered the Poke tostadas; they had guacamole on top instead of sliced avocado and it was brown from oxidation. Not a good start. Wife ordered the miso soup and it came out last instead of as a starter. Sushi overall was bland and really would never be something Iâd order from here ever again. Finished off with the sâmores dessert and expected it to be warm but it wasnât⦠will not visit this place again.
So it started great - I messed up our open table res and over the phone they fixed us right up. Then things went downhill. Not sure if I can add photos but the sign outside the door said sushi buy one, get one half price. So I tried to do that. But the server said ânot good on nigiri only rollsâ. Ok fine we order two roles. âSorry we ran out of tunaâ. Well that killed over half the choices. The server offered âwe can make a roll without the tunaâ. But never said they would add more salmon or reduce the price!! You just get missing tuna for the same $. So I moved on to calamari. Which was dropping its breading off before I put a fork to it (got picks of that). The fish & chips w haddock had great fish and zero flavor batter. I mean none. The table next to us said the exact same thing. The chicken & waffle sandwich was amazing. Bottom line - eat here at your own risk.
Good table spacing. You can hear each other talk. Great food. Good variety.
Wonderful experience! Our server Riley was fantastic! Great menu, food & drinks were wonderful! Weâll be back and excited to try your sister restaurant in Meridian!
Menu changes are a downgrade. Service was slow and order was wrong. Not impressed.
Came in happy hour and loved the decor. The food was pretty tasty too! Definitely appreciate the free refills on the soft drinks.
