WORST PLACE EVER!! Waited 15 min for just waters, 1.5 hrs for burger & fries that never showed up. Only 4 other seated tables in the whole restaurant. Left due to blood sugars crashing & went down the street to Applebee's & had full meals delivered to us in 15 minutes. Place is also in dire need of a makeover. Very run down/dirty. So sad as this once was a classy place.
Went for their Christmas Eve brunch today. Place was filthy. Food was cold and not good. Drink machine wasn't working, kept running out of food. plates seemed dirty. Stay away.
There are bad dining experiences and then there are B.A.D dining experiences. Redd's, unfortunately, was a really BAD dining experience. The only positive (besides the tater totts, they were good) was our server. She was very nice. Our first clue that this may not be a good experience was our being the only people in the restaurant...on a Friday night. The second clue was the dated, dirty, very worn out decor that harkened back the nostalgic days of 1988. I mean, it was truly reminiscent of leggings and big hair 1980s decor. The third and final clue was the food. I ordered the Philly cheese steak and I can honestly say I'm not sure it was actual cow that I was eating. I simply could not tell from the taste or texture of my food. My daughter ordered the coconut shrimp that was simply unrecognizable as shrimp and tasted as bad as it looked. And a friend ordered the chicken strips that were so dry they tasted like they'd been frozen, thawed and refrozen a dozen times. It really was that bad.We ate about 1/3 of our meal, then asked for the check and left. This restaurant is on its last breath and just needs to pass away quietly with what little dignity it may have had several decades ago.
Free Breakfast, the employees were very nice (this is the Only reason it's getting 2 Stars) Everything was dirty, Spider webs Everywhere. It was not a very comforting environment to be in.
Nice quiet place for brunch with my grandkids!
We ordered dinner from here tonight through DoorDash, and not only did they get our order wrong once - but twice when they "remade" our order and sent it over to us.They also wouldn't answer their phone when I tried to call them (five times between both incidents) to resolve the issue. We ate at their place in Rexburg and enjoyed it, but this location in Idaho Falls didn't live up to that president.Would not recommend the Idaho Falls Location.
Our waitress was friendly and very excited to see us. We were the only 2 guests in the restaurant and that made us a little nervous. But we heard good things about the restaurant in Rexburg and figured we'd give this location a shot. She explained that they only had one cook in the back and her working the front so the time to get the food might be a little long... boy was she right. It took about an hour to get our food. Deep fried mushrooms, Burger and fries, and a rib eye steak, baked potato and fries. They were pretty limited on their side choices(fries, bake potato, or salad). I don't think I've ever had a waitress come tell me that my steak was going to be over cooked and still brought it out anyways. I ordered my steak medium and it was very well done. The flavor was ok but it was a fairly thin steak, not a typical rib eye. The burger patty looked of the frozen variety. I would assume that most of their food is cooked from frozen as they aren't a busy restaurant. Overall it was pretty disappointing and fairly expensive, $54 pre tip. The air conditioning wasn't working very well and it was quite hot in the restaurant. The waitress tried to make the best of it by apologizing and making small talk but that didn't make a difference, we won't be returning to this place.
Waited over an hour for food, horrible service, didn't have popular beers on hand
We are a very large family and went to Redd’s Grill in the Shiloh inn for dinner. There was only one person Brandy working by herself. This amazing lady served us cooked for us and did everything by herself. The food was delicious and the service. Was so excellent we will recommend Redd’s Grill to all friends and family. Brandy made our last night together so special we are very grateful. I hope her employer realizes what a valuable employee they have in her Tricia Morehead Howard family Mori family And all My 12 kids, grandkids and great grandkids Thank you Brandy
Tried this place a little while back. I don’t expect them to last very long. We both ordered burgers. Frozen, bland pucks cooked down to nothing. Had “guacamole” on my burger. It was an abnormally bright neon green color. It was the same color when it came out the next day. Somethings wrong with that.
