Overall really good selection of pizzas, nice and relaxed atmosphere and great music, the crust is very nice. We gave it a 7.4 on the One Bite app, and by the Portnoy scale this is an above average pizza. This place is probably one of the best in town. The only thing I wish to make it a 5 star is that the pizzas would have been fresh. They had to reheat the slices in their pizza oven.Todays slices were Drunk Candy, Pesto Chicken, Pepperoni, Doug’s Favorite, and one more that I can’t remember the name of but it was a winner.
I took my kids to lunch here recently. We ordered a slice of cheese pizza and a slice of supreme pizza. The slices are what I would consider adequate in size and amount of toppings. My kids really enjoyed themselves: we also got a couple of bottles of soda. I think my total bill came out around $15. They have a potato pizza there that people rave about. Didn’t try it, however. We can in just before the lunch rush and we’re in and out of the place in about five or six minutes.
We came for a slice of pizza and got 5 slices of deliciousness! We will absolutely be back! We got a slice of Drunk Candy, Pepperoni, BBQ Chicken, Bacon n' Potato and Mac n' Cheese! ???
We bought pizza by the slice. We really liked the mac'n cheese pizza and the barbecue chicken pizza. The pepperoni was just okay. It's not cheap, 4 slices for about 14 dollars. They warm the slices up for you.
Coming from NY, I'm a bit picky when it comes to pizza. Pie Hole is definitely the best pizza in Idaho Falls!
This is a special place. My first emotion when walking through the door was one of comforting familiarity, even though I had never been to Idaho Falls before. I even turned to my dinner companion and remarked about being transported back in time to when we would go to local pizza joints to hang out, eat great food, and not break the bank in doing so. Pie Hole lives up to this in the very best of ways. The pizza by the slice model encourages branching out and trying everything they make, and the thin but delicious crusts mean that you won't get overly full on just one or two slices. I tried the Thai Chicken pizza, and it was sublime. My companion tried a couple of other styles and sang their praises.Hats off to Doug K. and his crew for running a tight ship that produces a quality product in a delightful atmosphere. I can see why you have regulars; if I lived there I would be one as well.
My wife and I frequently come here for some slices, usually 1-2 times a week and we love it. Their pepperoni never disappoints and their menu rotation is always fantastic. I love the Mac and cheese pizza just because it’s different and uncommon to see. The music can be a little loud at times but hey I’m here for pizza and I’m writing a review about pizza, not music. There’s nothing better than put some garlic, Parmesan, and chili flakes on your slice and going to town. Pie hole till I die.
We just had our first Pie Hole Pizza. It’s phenomenal! So tasty, fresh, not too heavy but flavorful! We are hooked! Support local! ❤️❤️
I love the pizza here, so that’s why they get five stars, but I’m writing a review to explain my frustrations towards last night. The performer from last night gets zero stars.Context: I worked a ten hour shift and was invited to see a singer called Kimberly Campbell that was supposed to be performing from 7-9 pm. I convinced my boyfriend to come with me and he had been working all day too. I spent $10 on food and a pop and there was no where to sit. Seven rolls around and the performer was there but then disappeared. Around 7:30 pm I get fed up and decide to leave. Low and behold she’s standing in front of a bar with her friends and goes into that bar instead of performing at the Pie Hole like she was advertised to do. I heard it was her birthday, but I’m a performer myself and her performance was supposed to start at 7:00 pm (in other words, I understand the whole “show must go on”, mentality). People showed up for her and she didn’t seem to care. I’m the type that doesn’t normally go to events in the first place. I definitely won’t make plans to go to any events at the Pie Hole because of what happened last night. A huge waste of my time and my boyfriends timeUPDATE: Upon further research of their Facebook page, it says “she will play if she ‘wants to’”, but that wasn’t properly explained to me by the owner when I was invited to the event. Also, at the bottom of the poster it said “It’s my birthday, and I’ll play if I want to.” Well… it turned out she DIDN’T want to. Total waste of both of our time. Very flakey event and performer. I will not be attending any of her performances in the future. ALSO, if you’re gonna use your birthday as an excuse well guess what?! It was my boyfriends birthday the next day and I thought it would be fun to take him to see some live music. So, don’t even use that as an excuse to not show up.
Pizza by the slice was just ok and had been sitting out long enough that it was noticable. They reheated our slices and the flavor was decent. This is more of a NY style Slice. Staff was friendly and restaurant itself was clean.
