Seriously??? If you ever want to relive the “old days” that are long gone this place is right up your alley!!The food is on point!! I mean over the top good home cooking!But what sets this place apart from other divers is the customer service!!So awesome to see this place back up and thriving!!Please don’t change a thing!!
Best truck stop in Idaho Falls! ?Breakfast feast fit for a King! ?The ham steak added for only $1.00! ?Food is served quick and hot and well plated. Large portions! We share the breakfast and still have left overs! You won't leave hungry! Prices are super reasonable! Friendly, attentive servers! Hilary is awesome! On it! Never have an empty coffee cup! ☕The restraunt and bathrooms are super clean.Very well managed.Highly recommend.
Love this restaurant and everything I’ve ever ordered from there. 1 of my favorites from there is their deep fried mushrooms. But I’m the only 1 in my family that likes fried mushrooms. I can’t eat an entire order by myself. So I’ve talked my significant other into sharing an appetizer sampler, and an order of fries, every time we order. Well quite a few times that we’ve ordered there isn’t as much as usual. Or the deep fried mushrooms are tiny. And there’s only 4.

This is Legit "Old School" truck stop food. Hearty portions, usually cooked just the way you ordered. There is a special on the white board every day. My favorite meal there is breakfast, with a wide choice of meats, fresh eggs, great hash browns, country gravy, toast and a decent cup of coffee. There is counter, table and booth seating available. The property also has a convenience store attached to it. Lots of parking, easy Hiway access and fuel available. Great stop for travelers, and locals alike.
Typical truck stop style cafe. Eggs were a little overcooked and hash browns were a little undercooked. Staff was very friendly and place seems to have a regular crowd. I. Didn't order the ham, but those that did had portions large enough that feed multipl people.
Just ordered the Malibu chicken sandwich here; big business cannot compete!The chicken was cooked and seasoned well. I was afraid when I asked to put all the toppings on- most sandwich shops over fill with toppings and dressing. THEY ADDED THE SAUCES EVENLY. ???The foot long sandwich here is more filling than other big names competitors!I’m so glad I stopped to get lunch here!
Mitchell’s has almost always been a great place to eat. The staff are friendly and great and the food is good. It’s a much better experience than some of the other home style diners in town like that garbage diner North Hiway.
Good home style cooking. Staff is fun and friendly. Great service. One of only a few places that gets my eggs cooked perfectly. Excellent specials, I've had the meatloaf and spaghetti. And you can get all this great food to go!!
