The Birria tacos were AWESOME! Wanted to try the secret menu Birria Taco Pizza but it was way too big for just 2 of us. The Garcia Carne Asada fries were excellent too! The fries were cooked to perfection topped with the perfectist tiny chopped pico, cheese, carne asada, crema, cilantro and your choice of 4 fresh salsas!
This is an amazing place to eat. The atmosphere is great. The food is absolutely fantastic. "Good food isn't fast, and fast food isn't good." The tacos bring back fond childhood memories. Garcia's staff is kind and helpful. My family and I will be back for more great food.
We ordered the birria tacos, the consome sauce, and two huraches.I’ve heard amazing things about this place, mainly about the birria tacos. I imagined the birria tacos being tasty and gooey with cheese. I was excited to finally go.The waiting from ordering to getting our food was 45+ minutes. Unless the food is absolutely amazing, that’s just too long of a time to wait in my opinion. The tables are much to small to sit at and the chairs are the metal wire sided chairs. They are not very comfortable to sit in, which isn’t usually a problem, unless you have to sit for 45+ minutes. The meat in the birria tacos was amazing, they had great flavor and great texture. The consome sauce was very tasty and very hot. The birria taco shells were not warm, they were like when fried food has gone cold. This also made the shells were also very hard. The cheese that was inside the tacos, was melted at one point, but has since harden again. No gooey cheese.I have never had huraches before, so I didn’t know what I was getting into. The meat on the huraches was good, but the huraches seemed bland overall. There are sauces to dip your food in and they were good.If I were to go again, I would probably go at a strange time so the wait isn’t so long. I also would not get the signature birria tacos, but try a burrito instead.
This is likely to become a personal favorite. I was blown away by the Birria Tacos and also enjoyed the Adobada Pork Torta. There are a lot of meat options on the menu and a selection of Mexican snacks that included a few of my favorites. Can't wait to visit again!
Oh my!!!! The food is fantastic and the girl taking our order (Vicky) was so nice and personable. This is one of the best places in Idaho Falls for authentic Mexican yummoness!!!
Absolutely fabulous food that you won't stop craving after! So many choices and everything is freshly made. I am blown away that this delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine is right here in Idaho. I had the Garcia's fries with birria while my husband got a burrito. Both meals were so good!! Also there's a bunch of items you can buy off-hand, like chips and drinks from Mexico. Such a cool place. This is a sit down restaurant, so cook times reflect that! Enjoy your time here!
Got the birria tacos and let me tell you, these are best dang tacos ive had since I moved to this state! Seriously, would recommend
Slow…slow…slow, but if you have an hour to wait for fries. They are GREAT though!
music was way to loud. but the food was delicious.
I got a huarache and birria Tacos. They were good and the consome was amazing. My poor review is because they took a long time to get my food ready. I asked for a lime, which they told me it was a .50 extra. I paid and I got a quarter of a lime. Overall good food but super expensive. There are better places nearby.
