What an absolute disappointment. We were seated and forgotten. We waited for a server to come to our table for quite some time. Once we placed our order, it all went down hill from there. Three more tables were seated after us, they placed their orders after us, and all three tables had their food before us. We finally got our servers attention to let him know we were still waiting. He then proceeds to bring us cold food. It was obvious it had been done for some time and just sat there. We asked for the manager and she was just a rude witch. She didn't care we had had poor service and had been given cold food. She grabbed our plates and stomped off. Hot food was brought out to us shortly there after, but not one person came to check on us to see if every was alright after that. We had to ask for everything. Even the table next to us said they had been ignored as well. No apologies for poor service, no offer of making anything right. Don't expect to go back any time soon.
Had reservations at the Idaho Falls location with 7 other adults 4/10/22 at 5pm. This restaurant has been my personal favorite for many years, I love the salsa and the food is good to great quality, 5 stars almost any day but not this day. We were seated in the bar area which is what I prefer. A blonde lady came To take the orders. Sime of the orders came & few others trickled in later. By the time we most were finished eating I had to ask the waitress where the other orders are. The last 2 orders showed up when everybody was finished. We just got a box to go. Unfortunately the quality of food was not what we expected or previously had. I believe all of us had the $20 6 taco special. The shells were hard and crispy & cold and there was only a small amount of food in the tacos. Unfortunately the waitress Couldn't figure out how to do the bills. Had drinks on the wrong bills, it was a mess And it took close to 15 minutes to get it all correct.Just wanted to let you know. Of course I've had a 100 fantastic dinners there but I just wanted to let you know about this event.Explain to me what this kitchen tax is.? Why is it different than the other taxes that are normally on a bill?
This is the second Cafe Savor I have eaten at recently and was very impressed with the food! Went on a Saturday night and our group was seated within a few minutes (several other places had hour plus waiting lists). The menu has something for everyone, they serve free chips and salsa (both are great) and also have daily specials, so they have a price point for every budget. The decorations and lighting are just right and the service was quick. My only negative was conserving our waitress. She barely paid attention to us (although she did get chips and salsa refills) but forgot about our drinks, multiple times. Not sure if she was super busy or inattentive because we were a small group, but other than that, it was a great experience.
My favorite Mexican food restaurant so far here in Idaho falls. Very comfortable atmosphere friendly Service. Food was great Service was excellent. Taylee was awesome she was on point with whatever we needed.
We love this place. We can always get a table. Weblove their delicious food. My wife and I always get their Ceviche. The jalapeño margaritas are Lay's a hit too.
Called in a pick up order for 2 veggie burritos! The service was quick (less than 10 minutes). The order came with chips and salsa - delicious!!! The burritos were ahhhmazing. Will DEFINITELY return :)
My wife is angry that we didn't buy any candy. But, hey, we were stuffed after eating the meals. The carne asada is the best we've had anywhere in Idaho. The pork carnitas taco was moist and flavorful. My son had a side of creamy chipotle that he was dipping stuff in, sort of as a joke, and it was awesome. Like a runny questo, so it was lighter and better as a sauce. All in all a fantastic meal. But, yeah, we didn't buy any chocolates. Our mistake.
We used to be frequent customers and this was our favorite place to visit, now it's our least favorite place. prices have gone up, portions have decreased and if you want add on, you have to ask 2 and 3 times to get it, and then it's an expensive add an on, for something that shouldn't be expensive. We've spoken to the owner a couple of times, nothing ever changed, and they didn't even offer a complimentary visit. But the worst of it all is our last visit a couple of weeks ago, I thought the salsa was different, but after today's visit, I know for sure the salsa has changed and it's It's not for the good, it used to be the best salsa in town not anymore!!!
The food is good. I feel like it's over priced. $4 for 1 taco is steep. The margaritas are horrible. I didn't drink mine after a couple tastes. It was really busy but staff tried their best to serve us timely.
Garbage, don’t waste your time. Charged us $89 for food for 4 which we ordered. When Delivery arrived we got a kids quesadilla and some free chips and salsa. Then the chick proceeded to argue with us and told us thats what we ordered.. $89 for a kids quesadilla, I don’t think so! Good luck surviving word of mouth advertisement ?
