Black bear Diner is one of the best places for breakfast.Every time I've gone in everyone has been so friendly and great.Cheyenne, a sever at black bear is the women who usually serves me. She always has a smile on regardless how busy it is, and provides me with FANTASTIC customer service. Big shout out to black bear diner for having such a wonderful employee who can always help turn my day around. I give both the food and service 5 stars.❤
Went to the black bear this weekend and had a wonderful experience, the food came out hot and fast and was perfect as I could take half home for dinner. The outstanding professional and personable waitress Cheyenne was the cherry on top of a great experience. Highly recommend the black bear diner and if u happen to make the stop ask for Cheyenne she will take great care of you!
We have never been to this restaurant and decided to give it a try. Upon receiving our meals which clearly showed the lack of quality on the food they serve, we will not be returning to this restaurant. My husband ordered a Ham and Egg Omelet with Hash Browns. When the waitress came out with his plate, immediately I noticed that almost all of the Hash Browns were burnt. I would have thought that this waitress would have seen the burnt Hash Browns and insist on getting him another plate of Hash Browns that were not burnt however, there was no concern over the food. A restaurant that is concerned about the quality of their food, would have never allowed a plate of burnt Hash Browns to even leave the kitchen. A little while into eating his meal, the waitress asked about his meal and how it tasted? We both brought to her attention on the burnt Hash Browns and asked if that was normal? Her response was , "That is how all our Hash Brown and other potato dishes are cooked!" I could not even believe that this plate of burnt Hash Browns left the kitchen and was served to a customer and that the restaurant thought that is was okay to serve it's customers burnt food. I ordered a Taco Salad which was pretty large of amount of food. The Taco Salad was good except it was served in a homemade tostada bowl. The tostada bowl was almost completely burnt too. A lot of people enjoy eating the bowl too. Why would I want to eat a burnt Tostada bowl? This restaurant is not concerned about the food that they serve their customers so we will not be recommending this to other people . Go to other restaurants that care about the quality of food that they serve their customers.
I was really dissatisfied. The veggies weren't cooked all the way so they were still a bit hard. The pot roast I ordered was tough. The hashbrowns my friend ordered were over cooked to the point she couldn't eat them they were so hard. When she asked the waitress to take them back it took about 20 minutes to get the new ones. There was trash around the floor. The only good thing was the waitress was friendly. Beside that ?
I went in today for a dinner date with my boyfriend. Our server, Cheyenne, was THE BEST server I have had EVER! She was so thoughtful and sweet. She was right on top of everything and very quick to help and make the experience lovely. She went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect and treated us like family. Will definitely be back. Thank You Cheyenne!!!
Hadn't been here in a while so we decided to hit it up. Food was good and our server was very nice. My biscuits and gravy could have used a touch more gravy and my bacon was okay but not amazing. Other than that fantastic visit.
The food was great and the staff was even better. Kira served us but even the other staff was friendly to us. Would go again. Their breakfast options are always tempting but the sandwich won me over this time.
Had to get cooks attention to find our server to take our order. Bathroom stall door lock fell off in my hand. It was so dark in stall I had to feel for the toilet paper dispenser. Salad was okay. I would like the choice of grilled chicken rather than breaded and fried. Steak was perfect medium rare. Corn muffin was good and just right amount of sweet.
I have conflicting views. great food, however, they have some issues that need worked on. I ordered cinnamon roll toast (comes with three) and I got one cinnamon roll, and two sad looking French toast. I also got the grizz, and the hasbrowns we're inedible. half of it was not cooked and the other half was burnt. then I got some fresh fruit with my toddler birthday breakfast he was so excited for, and it had 1/3 of a grape in it. I only get bad quality food when I order to go, or delivery. they almost always forget the utensils I add on. otherwise they have the best reubens around.
