Tasty, filling, hearty, American-Chinese food. The takeout is per pound but I thought it was reasonably priced, despite this era of crazy inflation.Would stuff my face here again if I'm ever back in Coeur D'Alene.
It had been a while since eating here but it was nicer this time around. The food was all fresh 4 pm time and place very clean. They made sure to keep food moving, turning to prevent drying out under the heat lamps. The server was lacking though. Once she seated us and took our drink order I had to hunt her down to get a refill as she never once came back to check. I can't speak to price as my father paid and I didn't see the bill, but it was a good early dinner and I will go back again. I will update to include price consideration.
Food is fresh and very good. Nice variety. We go for the senior lunch special Monday- Thursday!. Friendly service. Quick to pickup used plates.
We greatly enjoyed our visit there, enjoying many of the foods offered there. Some foods were better than others, but that's also our personal preferences too. My sweetie loves the won ton soup. I liked the Orange Chicken, Italian Pasta Salad, and Mushrooms. As to service, it was ok. I'm used to seeing upbeat, happy, fun, owners and employees, and attentive service. I'm used to seeing smiles...so to see not one person working there looking like they're glad to be there, really made me feel sad for them all. They just seemed to be going through the motions of doing their jobs. If you've worked for any length of time, we've all had employers who create an oppressive, difficult environment to work in...and if there are complaints, the owner(s) are more likely to take it out on the employees, rather than change how they treat their employees... Maybe the employees at this place *are* happy, but I didn't feel that, nor see it... So my heart goes out to them. The food was good, and good enough to return.... I'm just hoping the next time we visit, I see a better, happier environment for the employees.... And forcing employees to smile, etc isn't going to work... We can all see through that too.
I've been going here from time to time for nearly at least 12 years now. People are good and friendly and the food is usually pretty good especially during peak hours when it's fresher. This is one of the restaurants I wish more people went and supported.
I've been coming here since I was in preschool and I'm now in college and the food is just as great as it has always has been. The staff work really hard and give great service. The decore is also very aesthetically pleasing. It's quite sad they dont do mongolian bbq anymore I assume due to covid but it is still the best place to get chinese from bonners ferry to spokane in my opinion.
First time there, but really enjoyed it. They had a nice variety of food and it was very good.
We ate here a couple weeks ago for lunch. AND we were pleasantly surprised ! My, that was good food. Did not expect the food to be that good on a buffet ! The spring rolls were especially delicious (?)The food was refreshed quite often. The wait staff were helpful.((Spoiler alert - the hot mustard is by the delicious cold shrimp))
Very horrible. The food was all old and you could tell just by looking at it. The food was also very dry. Lots of it had no flavor. The food was warm also so we are hoping we don’t get food poisoning. The sweet and sour sauce had a metal taste. There also is no Mongolian grill as others and their website mention. They are way overpriced for what little options they offer for the food. We also where charged for our 1 year old when their sign said free. We arrived for lunch and where charged for dinner on a week day. The staff hardly speaks English and is not friendly. We will not return and do not recommend them at all.
Used to love this place, but now never go back. Went there on the 23rd for dinner cause I was starving after having not eaten all day at work. Plus I was really craving Chinese. Service was good, but food just wasn't the same. Made it to my vehicle, but vomited before I got in. Thought I was OK, so got in my truck. Immediately I vomited all over myself, and the exterior of my truck. Got out, and spent the next 10 minutes or so vomiting more. I myself have a really strong stomach, and this has never happened to me before. Kinda thinking I ate some bad Sushi, but then again, food was not as good as it once was. Note: Starting feeling bad inside, but kept eating anyways, since I was super hungry. Felt fine the day after, and even now. Haven't been sick in over 4 years. Ate 1 starter plate, and 2 main course meals
