It was really hard to give this rating, because I thought about it for awhile and didn't want to say anything, but there is a server at this location that can be pretty hostile. I flinched a few times while he was in front of me. It was intense. Although, he might have just been having a bad day. I don't remember his name, only that he is a thin guy with short dark brown hair, and a nice leather belt. Overall, food is excellent though. ??
I got the strawberry rhubarb pie with heated up with a scoop of ice cream. It was yummy. I hadn't been there in a long time. But I'll tell you what, the restaurant was pretty dirty, the tables were sticky the pie display case doesn't look like it's been cleaned in a while. So based on that it makes me fearful if the kitchen's been cleaned???
The servers do everything!! So very polite and will do anything for you. The food was ok..not the same anymore. We had a good meal however. Servers deserve respect and a very nice tip seriously
I was at this restaurant quite recently within the past week, and I ordered steak and eggs for breakfast. The sourdough muffin had mold on it and the steak was so tough I couldn't even cut it with a serrated knife they provided me with. I had to discard about half the steak. The waitress offered to replace the steak but I declined because I was in a hurry.
Weve been going to Sharis for many years now. Last weekend we had a rather negative experience with an employee. Dont know if she was a server or host.She continued talking about non appropriate subjects while we were trying to eat in peace. The topics were disturbing enough to where i had to pack my food and leave. I had lost my appetite! Other workers were pleasant enough but that had ruined my experiance. Will not be coming back!
It’s pretty sad when the kitchen staff can’t even get two different grilled cheese sandwiches right. They put the ham on the plain grill cheese and the person that bit into the “not with ham cheese” got a mouth full of pepper jack. Not good when there is a sensitivity to pepper anything. When I called to complain I was told if I come back they’d replace it. How about getting a simple order right to begin with. If it’s “to go” check your order in the car before you leave.
Really a pretty diverse menu and the portions were excellent. Considering it was a Sunday morning and the place was starting to fill up, I'd say the wait staff did a great job juggling everything that was going on. Covid clearly has effected staffing levels and they are hiring.
Food amazing and at a good value for the price(s). Zack, our server, made our dining experience exceptional! More than a 5 star rating to say the very least!
This would be 0 stars if it was possible. Came in last night About 830 pm and stood there at the door for 20 minutes. They had one table only. The only person I saw was the cook guy in the back. No one came to greet us so we decided to leave. I understand if you are busy and what not and we had to wait. But there was only one table. And no one in sight. I love Shari's but this was ridiculous.
I personally love coming to Shari's for a comforting meal whether it be for myself or my family. The courtesy of the employees in how they would go above and beyond to make the customer smile, is simply priceless. Kudos to you Shari's!
