Decent pizza; Horrible service. My mom and I arrived tonight at 7:45 p.m.--an hour and fifteen minutes before the posted 9pm closing. We wanted the salad bar. Everything was still out and on ice, but one of the workers said, "No more salad bar!" No apology whatsoever. So, we went with just pizza and a couple of drinks. I went to get a refill around 8:30, and the fountain had been turned off. Had to ask one of the workers to turn it back on. Ten minutes later I went back again, and it had been turned off AGAIN! I threw my cup away. One of the workers asked if I needed it turned back on. I said, "No, I'm done," and we walked out. We have liked this place in the past, but we won't be back after tonight. If you're going to shut everything down by 8pm, then don't post your closing time as 9pm.
I’m going to start out by saying if I could rate negative stars I would. My family and I were in there for less than 5 minutes due to the lack of customer service it was terrible we stood at the counter not understanding if we were supposed to seat our self or not being stared at by the girl at the counter not saying anything so we sat down n someone approached us telling us to sit in the game room because the down stairs seating was closing even though they weren’t closing for another 3 hours. So then we move up to the crazy packed loud game area and get asked by a worker if we wanted the salad bar because they were going to start putting stuff away… n yes they do not close for another 3 hours! It was absolutely the biggest turn off how we were treated. We walked right out due to how only being in there for the time we were we were treated so poorly.. anddddd water was dripping on us from the sealing forgot that one.
On Saturday last I took my family out to dinner here and it was an utterly miserable experience. The food is adequate and the service was fine. But something happened that the manager, a choleric man with a goatee, felt the need to berate his staff publicly. The profanity laden badgering was so bad that we would have departed immediately except that we had not yet received the meal we had prepaid for and had no desire to have Goatee turn his wrath on us by inquiring about a refund. The entire dining area was acutely uncomfortable by this utterly unprofessional outburst as he seemed to fire the woman he was shrieking at. Regardless of the staffing issues, management has the responsibility to maintain the dining experience for the customers.Despite Goatee’s outburst, no attempt was made to soothe matters with the customers and he continued to abuse his staff with verbal whips. We ate quickly and promptly departed after the food was delivered. On the way home I explained to my children that they should never treat anyone that way or accept that kind of vitriol from an employer.I do not recommend giving money to a company that does not care about the customers and treats their staff terribly. There are much better places in Coeur d’Alene.
Our saddle club has been regularly reserving their banquet room for our monthly meetings. We spend several hundred dollars on food and drink while we are there. This month, we had some very contentious topics to discuss and our meeting we t a little long. Rather than closing up and sending all of his employees home, the owner had all of his employees line up along the front counter outside the door to the banquet room and wait, with arms crossed, while he came into the banquet room and made several very rude comments about "Can't we tell time?" "Can't we wrap it up?" "Aren't we done yet?" with lots of sighs as he snatched up items off the tables. And then had us exit out in front of his line of employees, glaring at us. All of whom could have left 15 or 20 minutes prior if he had been a responsible business owner taking care of both his employees and customers. This pizza is sub par, he keeps red wine in the chiller ( blasphemy!), his salad bar is usually mostly empty and it's like pulling teeth to get an employee to fill it, and he is a very rude person who should not be dealing with the public, in my opinion.
Good food but TERRIBLE service by ONE individual specifically. I’m the president of an organization here in town and we have our meetings here once a month bringing LOTS of money and business to this establishment. All the employees were very patient, kind, and friendly besides one employee. Wayne. Wayne made SEVERAL comments about how he hates when my organization comes in, stormed in when we were 5min over 8pm and started taking plates away from us and rudely asked if any of us know how to tell time, had several snyde remarks once we apologized and left. We always try and be respectful and we absolutely spend more than enough and tip generously but to be treated so poorly half the members say they won’t attended another meeting if it’s at this location is appalling. This guy clearly is miserable and loves company or hates his job and needs to find a new one. We will NOT be returning for that’s the last time I’ll allow him to be disrespectful to me or my organization.
We had a group meeting there last night with 30 or so people. Most of which ordered food. One of the employees came in at 8 on the nose and said something rude but I didnt hear it. We where trying to wrap up the meeting when he came back in and turned the lights off and said "Can't you people tell time!" We where running a bit late which I understand is frustrating, I waited tables for years.15 mins isn't late enough to tell people to get out, EVER! Especially paying customers!!!
Best pizza in Coeur d’Alene!
Brought the family in for dinner. When we got our food, there was an issue with the pasta sauce. While they weren't able to fix this by remaking, they went out of their way to make it right in other ways. The service was really good as was the pizza.
The wings are a joke and the size is as small if not smaller than the pepperoni on the pizza and the pizza is tasteless as well. DO NOT waste your time and money!
Their meatball sub was the worst I ever had. Made me sick to my stomach. I'll stick to Subway. Their pizza was no better.
