Panhandle Cone & Coffee has really delicious homemade ice cream available in 18 unique flavor combinations—regular (10), seasonal (4), and dairy-free (4).My husband and I visited in June for IRONMAN and tried a few different flavors—Salted Caramel & Brown Butter Cookie and Roasted Strawberry were our favorites. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Coeur d’Alene!
Best ice cream in town!!!!Sweetest little shop we have been many times. Took our friends for the first time and they loved it as well. The seasonal flavors are so fun to try.Toasted coconut Marionberry is my fav. Kids love the roasted strawberry with sprinkles. The girls working were so sweet when I husband asked how much they wanted to be tipped. She said nothing. So they got a $10 tip.Plus one of the kids immediately dropped her ice cream in the concrete. They didn’t hesitate to replace it!My youngest daughter stole everyone’s cones for herself.
I've had a lot of ice cream at a lot of local shops and this is up there with the best I've ever had. The mini cups in my ice cream were the most impressive and surprisingly tasty things I've ever had as a "topping" in my ice cream. I was just so happy eating this and it just had such a fresh and unique flavor. Quick service and some cool merchandise with a fun logo.
Ice cream was SO good. I had the salted caramel cookie butter and friend had huckleberry. We loved it!
The best ice cream in North Idaho!! Coeur d’Alene has lost some good ice cream shops downtown the last few years, but Panhandle Cone & Coffee more than makes up for it! This stuff is freshly made, high quality, and the real deal. The huckleberry, coffee, and salted brown butter cookie ice creams are some of the best. And then there’s the amazing seasonal flavors! It’s always served with a smile, and even if there’s a long line, they work through it quickly. It’s our go-to whenever we’re in the area.
I was fortunate to get to unexpectedly have multiple visits...To start out I wasn't very impressed, I went in and ordered a 3 bean burrito and a large horchata and they had the nerve from behind the counter to tell me that they only serve ice cream. I was able to stay surprisingly calm and asked to speak with management so I could explain that I hadn't had dinner yet and couldn't understand why I was being refused service. I figured it was because they knew I had once had a sweet sweet horseshoe mustache and a mullet but at a weak moment in life decided to get rid of them. Turns out it had nothing to do with that, they just seem to be against serving Mexican food to non Hispanics. After I left to go find a place that wasn't so culturally in order for a Burrito and Horchata, I couldn't help but think about ice cream. I figured this is some sort of subliminal marketing scheme, but it worked and I don't regret it. Their ice cream was delicious!
Delicious coffee and creamy, rich ice cream. They have interesting flavors. The Honey Bourbon ice cream is amazing. They've quickly become a favourite of my boyfriend and I.
Wow. Delicious ice cream in unique flavors. A great treat, probably better suited for older kids and adults who can appreciate the flavor combinations.
Seasonal flavors are always fresh and creative. Great atmosphere, friendly smiles, rewards system for frequent ice cream & coffee lovers worth signing up for?
