If you're considering Bluebird, just come in. Seriously, you've made it to the reviews and now you've found your next restaurant to visit.I love the service here. Always top notch and I've never had a poor experience due to staff.I'm usually not in the mood for the food here (although it's very good when I am) but just coming in for some oysters and wine is fiiiiine fine fine. Solid beer and canned cocktail selection as well.
I don’t think I can share enough love for this place. Taylor the chef is amazing! He even came to our table and thanked us for coming in. I ordered 3 orders of oysters because they were SO GOOD!! Sorry the kitchen had to keep shucking them for me. We also had the octopus against my husbands choice but he loved it too! Drinks were great, atmosphere is great, staff was wonderful. We enjoyed the paella for dinner. So good, just go, don’t think about it, you will not regret it!! Also get some oysters :)
I had high expectations for this spot after several people’s praises; unfortunately, it did not quite live up to the hype. The Korean bibimbap bowl tasted like when you burn something in a cast iron pan and then scrape the food from the bottom. My friend stated their burger left much to be desired as well. Also, service was incredibly slow even when the restaurant wasn’t very busy. We had to eat in 5 minutes so we wouldn’t be late for work.
Love to keep it local. Nice front sidewalk for eating outside. Unfortunately the chicken sandwich I had was nothing to talk about. It was dry and not flavorful. No elevated touch. No kids menu either. Our waiter was pleasant and prompt. The service was good as well. Might give it another try and try something else.
We absolutely love this restaurant, the wine selection and beers are very extensive. The food is amazing and though you may not think it is 5 star quality by looking at the front of the restaurant (though it is quaint), don't be fooled. Their chefs team does an incredible job. You will need to make reservations.
This place has a small, rotating menu but they do this SO well. Literally could order with my eyes closed because I know the food will be amazing. The service and atmosphere in general has made this one of my favorite restaurants in town.
Came here and our table of 6 pretty much ordered one of everything off the menu! Everything was phenomenal!We ordered: Cheeseboard, Pickle Plate, Seasonal scallops(incredible!), Halibut Parmesan, Salmon, Winter Caprese, Paella, Mac and cheese and fried chicken.All was incredible and wine selection was delicious. We will definitely be back!

This is easily one of the best restaurants in coeur d alene hands down. It’s owned but the same people who own syringa sushi the longest running sushi restaurant in kootenai county. So they know a thing or two about quality, what makes Blue bird cafe so amazing is they use the highest quality meat available bar none. Their ingredients are more than half organic and and STILL the prices are very reasonable for what you’re getting. Bring someone you like here.
Great service and atmosphere! Food is amazing. The halibut dish was one of the best I have ever had. Can't wait to go back.
