Great food. A very worthy hole in the wall, good reason it's been around forever and a day. The salsa, and how it is served in a big squeeze bottle, is unbeatable. Really the best!
Ugh I have been here twice and wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt the second time because of the great reviews but it’s just blah. Being from calico it’s and living in Texas maybe I’m just picky. It’s a bunch of young kids working and no where close to legit Mexican foods. The staff was friendly, prices are fair but the food is bland. It’s a slight step up from Taco Bell honestly. I would pass unless I’m in a crunch.
Love this local spot. Their outdoor seating is great for the summer. Their food is all good, pretty authentic tasting and they have some awesome staples!
Great food. Fast service. Restaurant is small and basic, but the food is great, and good portions. Very unassuming, and surprisingly packed some days. Worth a try.
I have had MANY varying breakfast burritos across the country as well as down in TJ. With that said my son and I just had the breakfast burrito here and it was Beyond Amazing. The chorizo was perfect, the bacon was crispy and Not soggy like so many places offer, it was just egg, potatoes, bacon cheese and chorizo and thankfully wasnt filled with re-fried beans as I often find many places utilize as a filler. The hot sauce was a great accoutrement to the meal. My son was silent for once while eating as he devoured his burrito. I love supporting our local businesses here in CDA and am extremely happy with our breakfast choice this morning. We did get extra cheese and bacon as we love our cheese and bacon. The price was totally reasonable for a burrito as my son stated "this things as big as my head", When we pulled away from the drive through I thought "Damn, this Bag is heavier than getting dinner for the entire family at many places" I would highly recommend anyone try their breakfast burritos. The staff is awesome and the family that owns it are stellar people. I'd give more stars if I could, Please keep making these burritos. 10/10 and we definitely found our breakfast burrito joint for life.
We walked in and immediately picked up on the fact that despite looking like a legit Mexican taqueria, this was anything but. We should have just turned around and walked out but regrettably gave it a try. Some of the signs that this place was sub-standard:1. One employee was telling the cook that he had burned crunchy taco shells2. Our burritos came out in less than 5 minutes3. When I pulled mine out of the bag, it felt like a dead, limp, stillborn puppy. When I took a bite, it tasted like a bean and cheese burrito from Taco Bell, which is an insult to Taco Bell because theirs are good and not $10. Furthermore, I had ordered the Beef Colorado burrito and it had all sunk to the bottom and tasted like Salisbury steak in a blender. We ditched the food, I wouldn’t have even given it to a homeless person. We ended up at Las Chavelas and this place is much better. If you ever find yourself at Mexican Food Factory, ask them for the directions to Las Chavelas.
Great service, great prices, clean, delicious!!! We tried burritos, quesadilla, tacos, and chips and salsa. We were pleasantly surprised about the food, atmosphere, customer service and prices. We will be back!
This is my number one favorite place in the Coeur d' Alene area for it's Tacos or Barretos. True Mexican food. The staff are very polite and helpful. The dining room was spotless and clean. I recommend the Mexican Food Factory over all other restaurants in the area.
Amazing food and even better service! I truly felt at home eating there. I would 1000% recommend eating here.
It was good. It's a small place that seats only a few, but it does have a drive-through. The parking lot is also small, only a few cars can park. It's a very popular little restaurant that's been there for years, and is family-owned and operated. They seem to have a huge fan base. We went on Taco Tuesday, and it was a good deal. I'm hoping to try their other dishes in the future.
