Still the best Mexican joint around this area. Our family go to place for the last 10 years. Never a bad meal and always delicious.
This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to! The food was INCREDIBLE and our waiter was so friendly. If you want some delicious food and that welcoming small town feel, I’d highly recommend Las Chavelas.
If you'd like Mexican food that's worse than taco bell, this is the place. If you don't like your burrito swimming in a puddle of oil, I'd recommend going elsewhere. Also asked for chicken in the burrito and got beef. Ordered a tamale and got a gross chilli relleno instead. This food was gross and I'd rather eat taco bell... not that taco bell is great but it's way better
Wow, where to begin….tables propped with piles of napkins, bulging ceiling tiles ready to crumble at any moment……the place was less than safe. We stayed anyway and had dinner sitting elbow to elbow with groups of strangers. The food was unexciting but not bad. Service slow, surprisingly busy. Not sure how it’s rated so high. Cannot recommend. Nice, busy wait staff.

My husband I went there just this last weekend and wasn't disappointed. The food was delicious and not badly priced. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant was really cozy and clean. Definitely would recommend it.
Really great food. Has been cooked exactly how we like it each time we order. Reminds me of being in southern Arizona at our favorite little place to eat down there.
Las Chevalas catered for our wedding and we could not have been happier! We also are in from time to time for dinner and ALWAYS have great service, smiling staff, and great food. Reasonably priced for the wedding and dining in! I am happy to support this restaurant and family!

Oh my goodness this place is my new favorite restaurant! Service, food and authentic atmosphere are all amazing! BTW when Tony tells you the 31 is a lot of food … believe him!
