This place has gone way downhill. We used to love this place. I know staffing is an issue but the food is also terrible now. My fiance and I ordered a spider and Vegas roll. It tasted disturbingly awful, almost like it was rotten or old. I'm just hoping I don't become sick from it. Also, when I was walking out I noticed a dead fish floating on its back in their tank which only added to the gag reflex.

Not only has this been my favorite sushi restaurant in all of the PNW, but yesterday my son took me there for my birthday. Every year and holiday I have excuses to go here. We noticed his artwork hanging on the wall. Not only that, but a random friendly stranger named Bill, I believe , covered our lunch… what a day!! Thank you everyone for a great birthday!!!

The food & service were both great! I waitress was a little nervous having a six top, but she was wonderful. The place was busy, but we got our food quickly! Would definitely recommend!

I was excited to try the place because they have many positive reviews online, but they are misleading. A few things about this place are terrible. The sushi roll fall apart and the rice is greasy. They use the cheapest dry crab sticks in the sushi. The sushi roles are smothered to death with sauce to cover up the low quality fish. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. I don't even want to know what the kitchen looks like.

love this place ?. highly recommended to anyone who loves sushi .

Outstanding location, excellent service. Love the beef bowl and chicken yakitori. Might not be the most authentic but definitely the most enthusiastic. There’s a flavor for everyone.

Kaiju is probably the most consistent sushi joint out there right now.Staff is cool, good atmosphere, solid menu offerings. I really enjoy their drinks and spirit selections as well.It is downtown CDA so don't expect a lot of close parking but the building it is was once CDA city hall. I like that building so a bit of history as well.

The service was really sub par food was overpriced and came out wrong. It was good but that's why They get 2 stars and not one. The atmosphere is cool as well, great location.

Ordered a rainbow roll and a tempura roll to go to take across the street to the brewery. It took 40 minutes to get in a practically empty restaurant, and the rainbow roll was warm. Took one bite of the tempura roll and thought it was mediocre, mostly tasted like onion. Took one bite of the rainbow roll and ended up spitting it out. Threw both rolls away immediately after. Not worth the $32 for two rolls. Won’t be coming back. The waitress Lexi who helped us with our to go order was fantastic however.

Absolutely amazing, our server was so funny to. Love this place
