Food and service were both great. Enjoyed celebrating a special occasion.

Four of us met here for dessert with no reservation at 8:00 p.m. and we got a table right by the window. Great view! Nice selection of desserts and I was looking forward to their coconut cake. The layer of coconut custard was barely visible and the cake was just ok. I took a couple bites and let my husband finish whatever he wanted. It just needed to be a lot better for that price, and for me to eat all those calories. My friend got the fruit cobbler and she said the top was more cakey than biscuity like a cobbler should be. Other friend got the chocolate cake and she enjoyed hers. They also have these gargantuan desserts in goblets that could feed four people. Not sure what that's about but it seems quantity trumps quality here. We found some gelato in town that was fabulous and I'd get that over desserts here.
Meh, was looking forward all day to the Chocolate Mousse cake. Average cake, with extremely thin layers of mousse, though was more of a micro thin layer of fake butter cream. It came with ice cream not whipped cream. It was so dry it needed the whipped cream, so I chocked it down the best I could but left half. Totally not worth the calories.
Had the opportunity to eat several meals at Dockside and enjoyed each one. The food and service were excellent each time, and the restaurant is lovely with great views of the lake.
Good food, but ate here twice in the last 2 days - once for lunch and tonight for dinner..they rush you to the point of ridiculousness. Our reservation was for 4:45 and we were done with our entire meal in a half hour. Didn't even finish our appetizer and they brought us our meal..Twice..so annoying when restaurants do this. For a "Resort", one would think the manager would know how to better serve their guests... very disappointing...get your acts together. it's not even busy here yet.
Hands down some of the best food and service we have ever had. we ordered our food got our salad bar and just as we were finishing our salads the main course arrived. Everyone was very friendly and had smiles on and the view was beautiful. Portions sizes were enough for leftovers definitely a great price for food service and atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back!
Stopped in for a salad. While the salad bar is a tad high, even for and all-you-can-eat, the selection was great. They do strip the selection back a little from the evening salad bar, and I can’t be sure, but the plates seem a bit smaller that dinner, but I could be misdirected from my appetite. It wasn’t clear that the salad bar was an all-you-can-eat until I asked. That helped justify the price a little more and the size of the plate. Again, great selection. Tasty choices. Fantastic view, even on an overcast day. I would have given five stars, but the price is a little high considering it is lunchtime and I still have to factor in a tip.
simply amazing meal! super clean resort. We definitely will be back. let me say this again. their team is going all out cleaning!
There are way better places in CDA to eat. Most of the stuff on the salad bar wasn’t fresh, wilted and dried up. Overcooked vegetables and just mediocre dishes that are too expensive. The interior is dated and it smells musty in the restaurant. The staff are friendly though.
