Really bad. I ate it but it was the same texture as their natural paper towels. So dry and alot of the burnt outside. That cook really needs to stop ruining expensive meat. I got a brisket san. 10 bucks. Generous serving. So stringy and dry. I will go to a food truck next time. I rarely est beef , no pork so it is a rsre treat. I was starved so I ate it. Ordered the Thursday special online to pick up. It was supposed to be a chicken plate with a side of green beans. I ordered extra items from the listed options and paid more for them. I picked up the order, got back to work, and it was a chicken sandwich, which is not what I ordered. I ordered a smoked chicken plate. My extra items were not in there either, and the online system adds like a 20% tip by default. Admittedly, the chicken sandwich was top notch, I mean really delicious, but I don't continue to give business to restaurants that short change you on the food you order, so I won't be going back. I was just going to go to their website to leave feedback, but the "store address" drop down is not populated and won't let you type in the address, so you fill out the whole thing for 5 minutes and it says you can't submit your feedback due to a missing required field. 2 stars because the sandwich was tasty, but should be a one star.
Terrible customer service, we went in on Saturday only to be ignored by the 2 employees that were there. we literally stood there for 10 minutes without even a " hello". another couple came in as we were waiting and again, they were not even recognized. needless to say they left, we stood there for several more minutes as the gal walked by us.
The food is good, and it would get a higher rating, if the prices weren't so high. You can eat at the other local BBQ joints (which are hands down way better food for the money) for around the same price, if the price was lower compared to actual bbq restraunts that are not trying to pass off the fast food vibe this would definitely be a place I would go more often. I'll stick to the triple B food truck or relic smokehouse for these prices
Ordered online over the weekend. Had the 9 dollar special, pulled pork sammy with a side and dessert. Sandwhich was good.. not great but it wouldnt be something I'd turn down. The sides.. I had the potatoe casserole and my daughter the mac n cheese.. both were not good. Potatoes were thick.. I mean like you could spackle a wall thick. Need to fluff them up some and add more cheese or something to cut through the thickness. The mac n cheese.. no flavor.. I couldnt taste cheese, just super bland and the macaroni was mushy.. If you serve mac n cheese especially at a bbq joint do it right. Last thing is the ribs got just like 2 ribs for 2 bucks.. they was dry not tough but I dunno it was like it sat in grease then was left to dry out some. Just some things I think should be worked on. For the price of the items on the menu standards need to be set a little higher in my opinion.
The food was alright. The brisket was cold, maybe mildly warm at most. The green beans were very overcooked but surprisingly still well flavored and edible. The Jalapeno sausage was by far, the best part and by itself brought this review from a 2-star to a 3-star. The service, was about as cold and mediocre as the food. Not impolite or rude but not friendly either. Very robotic.
Worst bbq i have had in forever. They open at 11 and im here at 1pm and the brisket and burnt ends are dry as a bone so much so you cant even eat them. This early in the day the meat should be fresh.
Always slow as molassess in wintertime. It's the only fast food restaraunt that always takes 30 minutes to get food from. The sandwiches are o.k. but small and the meat is always dry necessitating the use of some kind of sauce that drowns out the meats flavor. This last time my family tried to use a gift card and they said it was old and replaced by a new system. They spent 15 minutes trying to make it work before giving up and saying "call corporate". Why they would switch systems and not honor older (1 yr ago) cards I don't know. Seems like bad PR waiting to happen. Anyway this place is slow and food is not worth the wait in my opinion.
Not good. Weird burnt smoke flavor. Terrible choice of wood. Very dry brisket, shedded pork, chicken. Really not good and wouldn’t recommend. Workers weren’t wearing gloves hair nets and really quite concerning practice.
Great food awesome staff and service. Go in sit down and eat. This is not designed as fast food. Prices reflect a premium quality product. I love this place and bad reviews for me are given after you give 2 opportunities with horrible results not 1 bad experience. Any mistakes or missing sauces are at your fingertips.
