Every time we visit Coeur d'Alene we make sure we enjoy dinner at this restaurant! It never fails to please. Beautiful lake views, awesome cocktails (try the coconut jalapeno margarita!) and fantastic menu. If you get there by 4:45 you can enjoy the early bird menu for $23.95! I had medallions of beef, cooked med. rare exactly as I ordered. My husband had prime rib. Both dishes were delectable. We were too full for dessert, but try to save room! The all you can eat salad bar is fresh and filling all by itself.
The meal was excellent. Halibut was outstanding, great salad bar, and delicious mile-high mud pie. The restaurant itself is lovely.
The salad bar is fantastic! Their ranch dressing is very flavorful. I would have to say their fettuccine alfredo with chicken is the best I've ever had. For dessert the mud pie ice cream was a winner! You can't beat the view! I enjoy eating overlooking the water any time I'm in town. They were busy. I recommend calling ahead or making a reservation in advance.
The Cedars Floating Restaurant provides a unique transformative eating experience, where diners can bird and boat watch while enjoying some of the Northwest’s finest seafood and beverages. Service is friendly and efficient. The salad bar is loaded with a freshly cut vegetables and an array of tasty dressings, and the New England clam chowder is thick and creamy. It’s a place where memories are made, whether your wearing flannel or Chanel - you’ll love it.
Went here to celebrate my son and his new wife getting married. It was perfect. Dinner was delicious / service was great / atmosphere ,very nice.
Stayed at Blackwell Island RV Park and walked over to Cedars. The entire experience was exceptional. The setting took our breath away. The facility is top notch. The staff is friendly, professional and efficient. Then there is the food….. perfect dining experience.
Amazing food (scallops, steak, shrimp cocktail). Great ambiance for my birthday! Gave us free birthday huckleberry ice cream that was so good. Recommend 100%
Great steaks, awesome atmosphere. Our waitress was a little inattentive. However, they were quite busy. We will definitely go again.
Underwhelmed with the food. I ordered a New York peppercorn steak instead of prime rib because I thought there would be more actual meat. I was wrong. Roughly 40% of the steak was fat. The steak was cooked perfectly but the seasoning and peppercorn gravy had no real flavor. Asked for asparagus instead of broccoli and they charged me two dollars more for it. My wife ordered scallops and they too were very lacking in flavor. The Yukon mashed potatoes were average at best. You get bread with your meal, but you have to ask for it. Not fresh baked. Service was good and the salad bar was yummy, but the food was quite expensive. Nice atmosphere but overall, because of the quality of the food, it was disappointing.
The view, staff, and food were all great. I loved that the menu was digital to view but then still had the waitress responsible for orders/service, this was a nice touch. I thought the prime rib was on point, it was excellent! The jalapeño bread pudding was already very tasty, and captured the taste of the jalapeño without bringing a lot of heat.
