I really enjoyed this place. The food was excellent. I was really happy with the margarita I ordered. Be careful not to eat too many chips before your meal though! Great salsa!

Super busy, Mums day. Had street chicken tacos. Delish!! Wait stuff was wonderful. Not a fan of the salsa, was missing some pizazz.

The overall experience wasn’t horrible but a few workers here ruined it for me and my husband. Right when the Hostess is about to seat us, a waitress immediately said “not my section”. Our waiter was nice but pushy to get us out. The guy who gave us our chips and salsa rolled his eyes when I said thank you. It’s sad this happens. Especially, when it’s my last night but there for work.

Their drinks are WEAK, and food is VERY EXPENSIVE for the quality.. Very americanized menu and flavor (most are but this place is the worst I have had).

We had a great experience today at Azteca in Riverstone! I know they were short on staff, which is not anything they can control so I didn't think they should lose a star over that, and they were all so friendly, which they could've been stressed out, but they didn't act out at all! We got chips, salsa and soda, they took our order and when our food was delivered to our table it was piping hot, which obviously is great! Our server made sure to fill our drinks quickly and got us paid out quickly too. I would definitely be back!

I used to come here regularly and it’s coworkers and the service has gone down each time. I understand understaffing is affecting all of us, but rather than over extend staff consider closing sections off to retain the employees you do have. The last three times I’ve come here I’ve been passed by several employees without being greeted or asked if I had been helped etc. tonight not only did that happen but we were told by several wait staff someone else would be with us shortly. Eventually someone did come to our table, he was rude, simply. My boyfriend had to go to our car to get our water bottles because both our waters had so much debris in them, even after asking nicely for it to be replaced. Even after receiving the mediocre food, we were quickly ushered out by the waiter, a full hour+ before closing. I will not be returning :(

I'm not sure if they were busy ; it did not seem like it, though there was nobody at the front to greet us. They had a now hiring sign in their front door, so the understaffing may have been the case, but I waited nearly 30 minutes for my food before I ended up having something come up. Atmosphere was great tho

I would normally give this place a 5 star however when we went this last time they were store bought taco shells. Normally they are authentic shells. I pray that, that was because of all the shipping issues that the United States is going through right now. We will be going 1 more time and if it is the same that will be the end of a great restaurant for us!!

This restaurant treats you and feeds you like you're paying $3 for a meal, but charges you $20. Very subpar.I saw a lot of locals giving it a high review, so I thought it would be good. I guess that's what I get for trusting someone who has lived in Northern Idaho their whole life on Southern Mexican cuisine. HahBeing seated was quick(came on a Monday at 5:45pm), and the chips were yummy. That is where the 2 stars came from.Everything else was 1 star.Service was slow and we felt neglected, food was bland, dry, and gross. Menu was very hard to read (had a cover over it that wasn't completely see-through). Outrageously over priced. Most things were $18-$25. I ordered 1 tamale and my husband ordered 3 floutas. Our bill was $26.We had to ask for our chips to be re filled, and we heard two other tables had to ask as well. Company policy is probably to not give refills unless they ask. Same thing goes for the soda and water. There is no close parking.I didn't even finish my one tamale. They put red enchilada sauce all over it (probably to mask how dry it was) and it was terrible. Definitely not authentic or traditional.Would never return here.I would never reccomend this restaurant.I wish I could get a refund, that is how disappointed I am.

I visited Azteca today for lunch with a few girlfriends and was totally disappointed. When we were sat down, we didn’t see a waiter for 20 minutes, then they finally brought chips/salsa/drink menu. The restaurant was not busy at all. It took around 30 minutes of being there to get the drinks we ordered as well as water. When our waitress brought the drinks out, two of them were wrong - and the waitress made us feel like an inconvenience because she got them wrong. Food was good, but none of us were a fan of the soggy black bean bowl on our plates. The waitress pretty much avoided us the rest of the time - we were trying to get more chips and salsa, and when we finally caught her eye - she told us that she had to charge us for more chips and salsa. Like when did that change?! She brought some out eventually. We finished eating and waited for a while, but our waitress was no where to be found. So we went and got Togo boxes ourselves from the waitresses station. Isabel was our waitress and she was extremely unfriendly. She shouldn’t be a server.I’ve grown up with this restaurant since I was a kid and this was just wild. I don’t think I will ever go here again.
