Very pleased to find dim sum! Although the restaurant is more Mandarin-themed, the dim sum selection is very appropriate to authentic Hong Kong dining experiences. The Pork Siu Mai and the Shrimp Har Gow were instant hits for me. The taro cake was wonderful – soft and moist on the inside with a very subtle crunchy thin outside. Marvelously done. Eager to come back and try other menu items!
Use the parking garage, busy area down town menu has variety of food for different tastes, lunch menu in back page . Food was good they offer dim sum...some of what we ordered was a little bland...but it was a great experience , we will go again...
I completely understand that the staffing shortage creates a slower service but the lack of getting orders correct and served has nothing to do with that.I don't mind waiting for my food I do mind terrible service.I have a food allergy, stated that and made sure it was noted and still got that item in my food. We did not get our drinks and when they took my food back never asked if I wanted them to remake it.I had to ask for them to do so and then the waiter was surprised... why? I came to eat dinner.Heard it was a really good place to go, not for myself. Suggest you just get take out and keep it simple.
Awesome service and food.
Very clean, staff is attentive but stretched. Just be patient! Food is awesome very traditional and tasty. Drunks offer generous pours, and they keep them coming. Happy hour offers top shelf!
My hubby and I went for lunch today. We were excited to have Chinese food,We ordered five dishes. First, Sizzling Rice Soup. There wasn't any Sizzlle at all. The rice should be cooked and really hot so when it hits the soup, it sizzles. Secondly, shrimp fried rice, it was very good. Third, beef chowfun just okay. We were thinking it cooked alot. The noodles were really shredded. The noodles should be 1/2 wide. Next, cashew chicken. Also, over cooked and bland. The shrimp chow mein was excellent. Over all we learned what to order for next time. Out waitress was excellent and really sweet. We will come back again.
Hands down best Chinese food in Boise it is consistently fresh, delicious and hit-the-spot comfort food. This place always has great service and I've never tried a menu item that wasn't cooked to perfection. If you want high-quality Chinese food at a reasonable price this is definitely the spot.
This is, by far, our favorite Chinese food in Boise. Like a lot of places these days, they struggle to find & keep good help and occasionally the quality has suffered some, but overall still our longtime favorite.
The food was most excellent! Everyone enjoyed every item ordered. The service was also expectional. We will definitely return to try more dishes and have some dim sum.
I give the food 5+ stars. Everything we ate made us look at each other and smile. 5 stars for price and service. 4 stars because it's still no wow factor on the location nor the interior; not bad at all and appeared very clean, just not a 5 star event. It's not a knock. I'll be back. Probably will change this rating up after another visit. I also remember when Asians worked at Asian restaurants. Maybe the cook?
