We had a surprisingly bad experience with the food at Willowcreek. The reuben was dry—hard corned beef and burned bread that left a bad taste in the mouth. The fries were excessively greasy and cold. The fish and chips provided a single large piece of halibut that could not be touched without falling apart. The breading was soggy and the fish had a boiled texture. A layer of grease and water settled at the bottom of the plate, making the sweet potato fries soggy. We did not send our plates back because we had no faith that a replacement would be any improvement. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. But finishing either of our meals would have been an unpleasant experience. We will not be coming back.
Do you ever walk out of a restaurant feeling disappointed and think "What did I just spend my money on?" Not here! Willowcreek Grill and Raw Sushi never disappoints! I LOVE the food, especially the Payette Club and sushi rolls. I always look forward to dining at Willowcreek Grill and it is my #1 favorite restaurant. Can't recommend Willowcreek Grill highly enough! The service is great, variety on the menu is amazing and the food is to die for!
Excellent food and service. This restaurant has a nice, cozy feel to it. The food we ordered was just what we needed after a 5 hour drive from Salt Lake. The salmon BLT with avocado was amazing. They really load up the avocado! I also recommend the homemade chips and salsa. The chips are not super salty but they have a lot of flavor!
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Very understanding and it was busy but if you're patient and polite the experience will be just as great. I had sushi and their rolls are mostly a lobster mix and white tuna but they're tasty. The place is neat and has a hunter's cabin vibe. It's not all you can eat but the fancier long rolls are big and filling.
Great food and service ! Awesome patio!
Oh my gosh this place was amazing!! I hardly ever give a restaurant a five stars!! They had the mango iced tea which is so so good! They're vegetables that are tempura fried totally on point! Couldn't get enough of those mushrooms oh my gosh! Also had in our dinners the sushi eel, prime rib sandwich, the Reuben made with real actual corned beef not just sliced deli meat couldn't rave enough about that! We also had one of the Asian salads I cannot remember the exact name of it but it's something like "not your normal Asian salad" or something like that but that was really really good so definitely will come back if I ever make it this way again!
Poke tower, awful. Bento box, horrible. Fish tacos, okay. Sushi was not good, definitely had no fresh fish involved. Servers and attitudes were great! However food is extremely lacking. High prices for bad food. What even is the menu, sushi, burgers, tacos, PICK A LANE, no one can execute a menu successfully like that. Seems like this is a new restaurant owner or a chef who has no idea what they are doing. Won’t be returning.
Awful - I have so many more things to say and things that should have been taken care of while we were there but we’ll never be back.
I got the brisket tacos and my friend got the Thai wrap. All the toppings on the tacos were amazing and the house made pickles were delicious. My only issue was that the beef was a little bit gristle-y for my liking. My friend liked the Thai wrap and we both agreed the chicken noodle soup was amazing. I’d go again just for the soup.Ambiance wasn’t amazing. Chairs and tables felt cheap and not welcoming. A booth would have been better but we were informed they were only for parties of four or more.
We went there for lunch and I had their fish tacos which I thought were excellent. I just wish there would have been more than two. The accompanying fries were also quite tasty and the service was excellent.
