Visiting from out of state and my daughter is vegan so she found this restaurant. SO overpriced and underwhelming. My husband and daughter ordered summer risotto which was supposed to be filled with vegetables. It was basically risotto with green beans for $20. Ridiculous AND lacked any flavor. I ordered the falafel salad which was good.. thankfully .. We ordered a appetizer of that was also just plain toast with tomato spread, I would not eat here again. My husband let the server know their dish was not as expected and she didn’t seem to care. Look elsewhere..
The food was pretty good, but the options were explained to us by our waitress at about the speed of light. She was plenty pleasant, but must’ve been imbibing in too many espressos. My wife ordered the short rib entree and it said it came with mashed celery root, which was surprisingly good, and micro greens. When her plate came, she thought there was a mistake as she was expecting a small salad with… really little lettuce leaves? But instead got the two leaves on the rib seen in the pix. When asked about it, we got a stream of words that were too fast to compile, but we guessed it was a garnish. You might want to say “with a garnish of micro-greens” on your menu. That was disappointing.
Always fresh - A great brunch and/or lunch spot! Friendly staff and always good energy. They have a full cocktail menu as well. See you there.
I have been to many restaurants for brunch…..The service here is by far the best I have ever experienced in my life wow ? the staff is amazing hats off to the hiring and training!!!! Don’t change anything.
My friends and I stumbled across this cute little establishment last week, and we are so glad we did! Drinks were really good and the Ahi tacos were delicious! Highly recommend. We didn't catch our servers name, but she was very nice and bubbly.
It was amazing. I got 2 eggs and a hash and every single bite was delicious. And meatless! My husband loved his ciabatta toast but said his steak and hash were under seasoned. It’s the kind of restaurant where I’m poking around trying to figure out how to replicate it cause it’s so good.
The restaurant has a nice vibe, the plating was nice, the grilled ciabatta bread was amazing, the potato hash was creative. But… the hash and the steak were under seasoned. Also, I ordered my steak medium-rare and the slices that came were medium on one side of the steak to well done in the other. Too bad, I wanted to be wowed, but my eyes liked the meal more than my tastebuds did ?.
My husband and I went into Wild Root on Saturday evening. Greeted warmly and taken care of by Ruby. She did an excellent job informing us of the various drink options, I chose the turmeric latte which was the best one ever.. We ordered The garden pasta and added grilled chicken. Tony the chef did a magnificent job and the food was well prepared and one of the best dishes we’ve had in Boise. Thank you to Ruby, and Tony for making this a special evening
All brunch, all the time. What's not to like? They also have full-bar cocktails (which is an evolution for this space). My go-to here is the steak and eggs, but everything I've tried is good (french toast is #2, yummy Acme local bread). The prices are a bit high in a relative sense, but it's downtown, and the quality is also there.Coffee drinks/espresso are also good.Service is attentive, and there is outside patio seating when it isn't cold.
Wow. The food (power bowl) was very tasty and fresh. I enjoyed it! Wild Root was a very nice discovery - this was my first time to eat there. It is a top choice for vegetarian, fish, etc.
