Westside has always been my favorite burger place… until today. It was the worst! I think the toasted bun was toasted last month. The burger was dry and flavorless. Very disappointed. Not worth the drive or the money.
Traveling from Montana. I absolutely love going to old style drive inns like this and this one definitely did not disappoint.Excellent burgers, fries and shakes. I was surprised to see the menu had home style meals on it which made it unique.The shakes are super thick and delicious. They give you a giant straw for your shake so you can actually drink your shake through the straw.I will definitely visit again when I'm back in Boise.
Can I first say, how much I love Boise. Such an awesome place, it never disappoints with what it has to offer. My wife and I had an impromptu date here, it was also featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. Long story short, definitely recommend the Patty Melt, Tots, and the Chicken Strips. Such amazing comfort food, their chocolate milkshakes are bomb too. ? Will be back for sure!

The fries and fry sauce are great! The potato ice cream is also a neat treat and I'd recommend trying at least once. The burgers however are pretty basic and aren't made with a best ingredients. I would come back for the ice cream and fries
This is a true Idaho staple! Since I was a child, we'd get ice cream potatoes at the western Idaho fair. It is such an amazing treat. Whenever I am back home, I like to stop by and get an ice cream potatoe. The owner is a true lover of Idaho. His staff are always wonderful people to interact with. If you are in the area, you must give this place a try! It's truly a part of Idaho history and tradition.
This was really really really good for a small, roadside fast food joint! I had a cuban sandwich which was good! I’ve had quite a few cuban sandwiches and I felt like something was missing, but again - it was yummy! The sweet potato fries were amazing though - especially with the dip! It was some sort of cinnamon-y butter-y deliciousness. That sauce needs to be everywhere! I also had a strawberry banana shake which was really good too! Thanks Guy Fieri for the recommendation!

Definitely a lot more food than anticipated. California folks visiting Idaho. We enjoy stopping by order burger joints. Not pictured is a small raspberry shake my husband and I shared( I’d get my own next time) total price was $22
