These may have been the best tasting fries I have ever eaten. I don't know if they are seasoned or fried in beef fat, they did something magical to them. Burger was alright, needed some seasoning. I'll be dreaming of those fries for the rest of my life though. Staff were very kind and accurate with my order, seating was adequate. I had a great time there! Would recommend for sure, I'll have to explore the rest of the menu

I love this BUT today Viking failed me. I ordered the Finger Steak dinner which is normally very good. Tonight is was lacking in product and flavor. There was only 5 Luke warm finger steaks and the French fries were old and cold. For $10 this meal used to be much larger. Makes me sad.

Our first-time visit was a disappointment. The $9 fish 'n' chips order had very few chips. The Eric 1 burger, double meat and cheese, was so overcooked that it was charred to a crisp. If we ever go back it will be in the summer for ice cream, but not for food.

One of the best, and often overlooked, burger spots in Boise, ID. Great selection of burgers and shakes to choose from. Have been coming here since I was a kid. Just a walk up window and a drive thru window. Not much in the way of seating, maybe a picnic table or two, but that's it. Burgers are made fresh and shakes are thick. Glad to see a small part of Boise hasn't changed.

This may be a new favorite! The food is fresh and delicious. I had the Henderson burger, onion rings and a chocolate shake. The burger was serious, no skimping on anything. I'm am a big fan of onion rings and these are hot and fresh and no wierd aftertaste like at the chain stores. Find a shake flavor that suites your taste and get the size that meets your mood. Also, they have Viking swag, tee-shirts and sweatshirts to show off your new favorite Mom and Pop place...

Maybe experiencing staffing issues?Ordered a Taco Burger that was far too small for the price, and a breakfast burrito that was inedibly dry without any salsa to speak of (not that drive-ins usually have breakfast burritos, I'll give you credit for that)The curly fries and the malt were fine, but all-in-all lacking compared to West State drive thru down the road or Big Bun Burger up on the bench

Food is pretty good I would give it five stars but I just find the requirement to ask for a bag thing to be very odd. And they charge $0.25 a piece for teeny tiny sauces. I think you get 2 with the entire order.

I absolutely love Viking but the hours listed on google are not accurate. I showed up today (open until 9:30 listed on google) at 6:45 and they were in the process of closing. This is not the first time this has happened. I’m sure COVID and labor shortages are playing a role but it’s just disappointing to be ready for a Viking burger and see them close so early.

Great burgers. The drive thru is a bit wonky and maybe it was just the last time I went there, but the service was a bit bland. But the burgers are worth it.

I had the absolute BEST veggie burger I've ever eaten from this place. I've been vegetarian for 10 years, and this was the best yet. Super fast service and everything tasted so fresh and well made. Thank youuu!
