Have loved this placed since I lived in Asheville, NC, so needless to say I was super excited when one opened in Boise. It's always fantastic eating here. Craft cocktails, a fun selection of by thr e glass pours local beer and great comfort food

My wife and I haven’t eaten here in quite some time. We were there during the first month or so of their opening and it was very good. During Covid we had ordered some family meals to go which were awesome and we appreciated that they were helping us and we were hopefully helping them as well. Last night we took our family of six there for a birthday dinner and I have to say it was outstanding in every way. The menu is even better than I remember, everyone loved their meals whether it was the bacon avocado sandwich or roasted pork loin or the variations on chicken and waffles, they were all outstanding. The food came amazingly fast which was great because we were all very hungry. We could not have hoped for a better waitress than Meier! Very sweet and relaxed, thoughtful and kind. She was very familiar with the menu and had Several favorites. It was a wonderful experience capped by a couple of small but incredibly tasty desserts with a candle for a birthday boy. I cannot wait to go back again and would ask for Maya absolutely. Welcome to Boise Maya we hope our city makes you feel as welcome and as at home as you made us feel at Tupelo Honey last night!

Very friendly staff! It was crowded! Nice music and atmosphere! Good service! We had many dishes such as meatball sandwich and French fries, scrambled eggs, Sriracha chicken, Mac and cheese waffle, chicken BLT, fried Pickles... we had also bacon for our dog! They have a dog food menu! it was a very good experience! It is highly recommended!!!

Extremely nice service - the crew definitely had all hands on deck. Excellent food - we had chicken and waffles, avocado toast and the best creamy scrambled eggs ever! The green salad was light and lovely and the biscuits and blueberry compote were the bomb!

Been here multiple times. I had the dusted chicken and it was a little dry. I have had better at Tupelo. Was there at 11:30 am on a Sunday. The place was not busy but service was very slow. I understand that there are some resource challenges...she forgot water when we sat down and did not come by too often. I have to stay that the greeter had tremendous energy and was incredibly likeable. It does set the stage for a good experience.

It was wonderful! They were great twists on southern classics. The staff was wonderful and the ambiance was beautiful with the downtown Boise bustle. We will definitely be returning very soon!

The menu has changed and I wasn’t very impressed with my entree. The sweet potato pancakes were my fave!

Great service, atmosphere and food!

Sat at the bar. Took them over 10 minutes before anyone even asked me how I was doing. It looked like they were super busy and a couple of huge tables may have recently left. Either way, the bartender never even acknowledged the fact that I sat down for a solid 10 minutes. And I was just one of four people at the long bar table. I ordered a cocktail from their menu which was extremely sweet. I don’t understand why people make cocktails that taste like straight up sugar solutions. I ordered their famous 18 hour brined fried chicken covered in some Sriracha honey sauce. There was barely any sauce on it and it was just a little bit of coating on the outside. It added absolutely nothing to enhance the flavor of that fried chicken, if anything it should’ve been left out. I also got a side order of their biscuits, served with butter and jam, which ended up actually tasting pretty good. I never got a water refill the whole time I was sitting there eating. The service was lackluster to say the least.

Taylor was great. Food was delish. Great experience.
