The food is great! They need to update the restaurant. Which is probably why it’s not as busy as it should be based on the food quality. The burgers are made to order and the breakfast menu is varied. Ask for Christina. She is a fantastic waitress. Just look past the tired old worn out furniture and enjoy a great meal!
Food was absolutely amazing! This place is highly recommended and our server Rhonda was so sweet and helpful. I own my own real estate business and know the importance of customer service. 100%
The fact that they have gluten free and vegan options is so amazing! Very yummy I will definitely be back again :) I see a lot of people complaining about the service but I thought it was good!
Server was very pleasant. Nice menu..lots of choices. Had the avocado toast which you could customize with tomatoes, spinach, cheese, etc. Really liked the options and it was very good. Had the home fries which are just plain potato slices. A little surprised by that but whatever. Ordered a half a cinnamon roll which was as hard as a rock. Only had one bite. Would think they would be fresh at this time in the morning (9am). Biggest complaint though was this location is super dark and dreary...the other sunrise cafes I've been to have always been cheerier. Don't come here if you're depressed, at least not early in the morning. Maybe when the sun comes in its a little better but it's 9:30 now, and I'm finishing my coffee and it's still super dark in here. Maybe good if you have a hang-over? Will try again at a later date.
Decided to try new place for breakfast before heading to the Idaho sportsman show. Food was mediocre at best. Waited a long time for food. That was not the worst part. My side of Biscuits and gravy came out cold and crusted over was disgusting. Looked like the gravy came out of a can. Some of the worst coffee I have had in a long time. #fired never going back.
Great breakfast! Carmen was great! She even sent me out the Door with a fresh cup of coffee!
It's nice to see this place bustling again. The food and workers always make it a pleasant experience.I would probably give them a 5-star rating if, when availability permits, they would seat folks a little further apart (from other patrons).
Waffle and pancakes were good with the waffle being better Imo. Ym hollandaise sauce was broken, eggs looked like they weren't actually poached and the whole thing was a little too salty. The cinnamon rolls were dry and stale. The sausage links are better than the patty with both being pretty salty. Idaho potatoes and hash browns both needed more seasoning. The service was great and friendly. We will come back and order the things that we liked and will have a better experience I'm sure.
I will never go back. I don't want anyone to lose their job. Short staffed I know, service was awful. An employee in there, off work walking around eating while she was coming in and out of the kitchen. Dirty restaurant, dirty bathrooms. I only took 2 bites of my food. Didn't feel very well the rest of the day, not going to say what I want to say about that. Sorry about this review I really love going out to eat.☹
My husband and I had lunch there. Food was good as usual. Service was not great but they were busy and short staffed. Check total was about $23. We left an $8 tip. The tip amount was changed to $80. We have unsuccessfully tried to get our money back but sunrise will not return our calls. They stole from us. We will not return.
