Gotta give a HUGE Shoutout to one of District’s MVPs: Maddy! She is an AllStar! ?Her constant incredible positive attitude, outstanding customer service and work ethic make her invaluable. She brings warm and friendly vibes and is a huge asset to their team. If you ever get to work with or be served by Maddy you are blessed!
I'm a coffee shop regular at other places in downtown Boise, and thought I'd branch out today. Went to The District for the first time, and was less than impressed. The atmosphere and available outlets for laptop workers was nice (reason for two stars awarded), but the service and the coffee were disappointing. The person who took my order was new, didn't know what a breve was, and did not enter my order correctly. Only one sugar free syrup option is available - and it's vanilla. *ugh, boring* The barista who made my coffee was standing next to the order taker, heard my order, heard that I ordered a 16 0z breve, and what I got was a 12 oz. When I asked him about it, all he said in a dull tone was, "Well, you were only charged for a 12-ounce, so . . . " Then he walked away. Seriously, what has happened to basic attention to detail and work ethic? The quality/taste of the coffee was nothing impressive. Not worth the visit.
My favorite cappuccino in Boise! Fantastic coffee. I saw a complaint about paper cups in the reviews; just order “for here” and they’ll make your drink in a mug!
Great location with Nitro Cold Brew.Ample seating. Quick service. The music is sometimes a little loud so if you're trying to do work, that can be a hurdle.
ICED LATTES, LET'S GO! I enjoy the atmosphere as well and the staff is always friendly! If you are lucky enough, you may even catch the owners in the shop from time to time! It has the Local Boise Vibe too!
Coffee is so sweet. Too much sugar and they don't have much variety. Other than that the place is nice and cozy.
Great little spot in the heart of downtown Boise.Good coffee, service and the ability to do some work.
This is my first time here and the staff were so friendly and informative. It’s a very cute atmosphere as well.
Met a friend here for breakfast. It was a little hard to find cause there’s not a big sign out front. The space inside is very open and spacious. It was nice and quiet, the staff was friendly but some of the outlets didn’t work so had to change tables. But it’s a great location downtown in kind of an older building. The coffee was good.
I guess my expectations were too high for this place. They make the coffee beans fresh which was great but then they served it in a paper cup?!!!! Why! It ruins the taste you know.We ordered chocolate croissant. It was not fresh. Generally you don't have many options to choose. Few pastry and very few food options. We ordered avocado toasts and they took our order . Then they came out and said we are out and we didn't like the other two options and asked for a refund. They refused and gave us store gift card! You cannot sell your customers something you don't have and then don't give their money back!
