The food was pretty good although kinda pricey. I had their special of the day which was a salmon that was full of flavor. I had a beer that tasted flat so switched to cocktails, which were really good and I will say well priced. My favorite part of the meal was the carrot cake! It was really moist, it had coconut and I believe zucchini in it which was amazing. And was topped with a Carmel drizzle. So good!

We ended up at the Tavern during the block party, it was pretty busy but the quoted wait time of 50 min ended up only being 30 min so that was a plus! Once we were seated we ordered a cocktail and a beer. We also decided to forgo our usual nachos as an appetizer and order the calamari instead. My husband had never tried it and it did not disappoint. The calamari was full of flavor and not the slightest bit rubbery. I would order it again in a heartbeat! Dinner….was another story. We ordered the Jalapeño Burger and the Tavern Dip Sandwich. The only redeeming quality was their fries, honestly their sweet potato fries were fluffy and delicious. The poor meat on our sandwiches were well over done/cooked. The burger was all char flavored (and not the good kind) as well as the meat on the dip, wayy too over done. Tough and DRY (Hope our pictures show how dry the meat is.)It’s hard to justify the lack of quality when the price point is up there. (Our check was almost $100) There are several other places I’d go for dinner in the valley before I’d order another entree here. The Fork downtown and Sid’s Garage just to name a couple! It looks like their happy hour would be a good deal but save your coin and go elsewhere for dinner! I will say service was excellent and Sapphire was very friendly!

The Shrimp cocktail as an appetizer? Please don’t do that to yourself, just 4 shrimps with a bunch of lettuce, the most expensive 4 shrimps I’ve ever paid in my life, the service never brought utensils we had to get up and go grab them, it really wasn’t a good experience

Best fried chicken sandwich in town. Great service from the bar

Love this place. Been coming almost every week for the past 2 years. Sad they don’t want my business anymore. The server called me a liar over why we didn’t have menus?? Very strange. We just left and had a great lunch at The Refuge down the street.

Karly’s last night working at Tavern. We’re going to miss her!!!

Overall service and food was good at Tavern. Two issues that arise. We got the ribeye and mashed potatoes and the mashed potatoes we’re barely warm and looks like they’ve been sitting on the plate for quite a while I ordered a second beer when dinner arrived, the second beer arrives at the table 15 minutes later as I was finishing my steak.

My wife and I came here and our experience wasn’t the best. My wife got the fried chicken sandwich and it was fantastic. The vegetables were sub par and looked like they came out of a can. I ordered the French dip and the meat was extremely dry. The Au Jus would’ve been refreshing because of the dryness of the beef but it was flavorless. Outside of this, there were fruit flies all over our food and beverages. For the price, I don’t know if I’ll be coming here again.

Another delicious brunch was had by all. The special burrito was huge, as our server, Kayla advised. The mimosas were made perfectly. Others had the Garden beni, Cowboy beni and Tavern burger with amazing sweet potato fries. Glad I live even closer as the Tavern has never failed us on any meal/beverage.

Very enjoyable dinner. Eclectic menu. Fish, steak, burgers and sushi. I had the steak salad. The dress was very tart! Would have been nice if they would have served some bread with the salad. Medium priced, great service. Would go again!
