You know know what's great about calling in an order for pick up?? That it's actually ready when they say it will be and you don't wait an additional 15 minutes. You know what's even better? Employees that aren't on their phone while your 20 minutes estimated order is taking an additional 15 minutes after you arrive. I also love missing items from my order. That part had to be my favorite. I came because Andrades was closed, next time I will wait till Tuesday.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Chicken Flauta plate ($10.99) from Taqueria La Flama in Boise for to-go lunch. I like they have a drive-through window. The service was fast and efficient. The chicken flautas, rice and beans, were excellent. I liked that the flautas came with sour cream and guacamole. The guacamole was very good. I added both red and green salsa to my flautas. Both were very good. The vibe inside is fast food. This used to be a KFC. But it’s real made from scratch Mexican food, including beans with lard. If you like tacos, they are very well known for their Carne Asada in particular. Highly Recommended!
WHAT HAPPENED? We love this restaurant and have said it's truly the best Mexican food in Boise. Today we went (Sunday) and were devastated. The rice was soooo dry, the beans ice cold and I couldn't cut through the enchilada shell because it was so either overcooked or dry. Is this the end of our dream. So sad.
I've been to 10+ taco trucks and countless Hispanic restaurants throughout Idaho. This is by far the best. I'm here weekly.Bonus, they play cartel corridos if you eat inside!
OMGosh!! This was our first visit and we were blown away. The BEST food every! I got the pork enchilada verde plate....... heaven
My wife and I visited this restaurant and food was good, but we had a sour experience with customer service, the lady taking our order( which spoke with Cuban or some Central American accent) asked me if we had order 4 tacos but My wife and I understood like if she was offering 4 tacos, so we replied “Yes” and she took it like we were lying to her, she then turn around giving us an attitude.. I worked in a restaurant for 11 years and I never had or seen that kind of attitude toward a customer even if customer was wrong.. I’m giving a low review not for the food but for the bad customer service..it needs to be clean to!
Traveling for work and stopped in for a quick bite after reading positive reviews. Friendly staff at counter, salsa bar, and tasty carnitas tacos! Great prices too.
We were so excited to come here dropped everything and said let’s go try it out with high hopes only to be let down. I got a cheese enchilada.. it was hard, dry and tasted gross the rice and beans have no flavor as if they don’t even cook it fresh. My husband got the birria tacos and my goodness that meat tasted like sink water I couldn’t even bring myself to eat it I had to throw it all away the only thing decent was their churros! I sadly won’t be going there anymore.
Been here twice, both times did not disappoint! The carnitas tacos were flavorful and juicy, the quesabarria tacos were great too. All the meat was juicy even in the chicken quesadillas. The rice is good I wish it had a bit more flavor but squeeze some lime and it’s great. The only thing that would make this place even better is if they had tomatillo salsa. AND THEY HAVE DRIVE THROUGH!
This place tops any other places I've been. Will definitely come back to try dessert. Wasn't greasy the asada tasted awesome.
