All you can eat--good sushi for an amazing price. Great selection. Includes house salad and miso soup but only at request. Fast service. Kids 5 and under eat free. Plan on coming back
The all you can eat is a reasonable price for sushi. The quality is always good when I go and the staff is attentive. Very clean restaurant. Only issue I really ever have is parking but they share a parking lot with a few other businesses.
Always a great experience going here for sushi. It's great for all you can eat sushi. Plenty of options for those that aren't interested in sushi as well. Great service as well.
Be the most boring sushi that I have ever ordered. The presentation of the four rolls that I ordered locked in color and zaz. Granite I got kind of plain roles but presentation is lacking. Sushi is supposed to look fancy and taste excellent could have garnished it with some lemons and the spicy cucumber roll is just cucumber and rice with sriracha on top of it how lame is that why don't you make a spicy sauce to go with the cucumber besides Sriracha. So order to go walked in and waited about 30 minutes.Quality of sushi is okay taste wise but it could be a lot better the rice is a little wet and sticky like soft maybe over boiled ? soggy rice. The bento box for the chicken teriyaki the chicken is like a white meat overcooked and glazed with a little teriyaki sauce but you can tell the meat is low grade.Disappointing enough to leave a review I will not come back to this place nor recommend it.
We came in with less than an hour before closing with the intent of getting our food to go. However, we decided to stay and have some Sake (because sushi without Sake is just a sin ?). The staff were very understanding and accommodating and we were still treated just like if we were there at any other time. Thank you for being amazing and we will definitely be coming again and again and again :)
I tried Sushi Ya years ago. I was not impressed and have not been back. It was recommended by several people last week and I was told it’s under new management, so it was better. Not the case at all. I normally don’t like rolls but ordered the Dragon. The spicy tuna on top wasn’t enjoyable at all. The roll was nasty. I also ordered salmon and tuna nigiri. Both the tuna and salmon were warm. I don’t think they keep the refrigeration unit cold enough. And the tuna smelled spoiled. Like, seriously spoiled. Maybe that was the problem with the dragon roll? Using the same tuna? Either way, I was not impressed at all tonight with Sushi Ya. I would not recommend this to anyone.
Nothing about this experience was good. I’m not gonna say worst experience but was definitely a disappointment. The fried rolls tasted as if they were fried in old oil. Only thing with flavor was my miso soup which I noticed had no tofu. Presentation was okay. Definitely looks better than it tasted.
I’ve been eating here for the last 4 years and it’s my favorite sushi place. It’s always very clean and the workers are super friendly! I’m super obsessed with the “Idaho Roll” and it’s ALL I eat! I’m pregnant currently and really craving them so I have gotten them three times a week. It’s not super expensive. I order usually the Idaho Roll and the Spicy Crunch. The Idaho roll has- crab, Avacado, cream cheese and house sauce which to me taste like a thick version of a tangy lemon sauce. Then the spicy crunch has- tempura shrimp, crab, avacado, and cream cheese. It’s tempura dipped and has a tangy spicy sauce that actually isn’t hot at all. If we’re talking on a scale of 1-10 I’d give spice a 2. It’s such a small amount on top of the sushi it doesn’t make it hot. This sushi restaurants presentation even for dine-out is always beautiful! I’ll probably eat them forever! I’d highly recommend this place because they have over 80 rolls! And they have hot and cold rolls. Tempura rolls, all kinds! It’s definitely one of my favorite places in Idaho to eat!
Sushi was delicious, the service was very slow and for an all you can eat Sushi place waiting 30 minutes for your food to show up makes your dining experience long. I'm sure they are struggling like every other business but my suggestion would be to limit tables instead of packing the place and having people wait long times for food.
They have a nice selection and an all you can eat pricing. The food was good and they were very fast. The wait staff lacked confidence in answering questions. The restaurant was clean and there wasn't a wait to be seated. Restrooms were clean and maintained. Bring your appetite because you get a lot of food.
