I flew from Detroit to Boise and found this Skymiles reward partner by the airport. The Detroit style pizzas are spot on with the dough, sauce, cheese, and toppings. I also enjoyed their chicken, bacon, Alfredo pizza.

Ordered a pizza through Ubereats and in my first bite discovered a 6 or 7 inch long piece of plastic that was baked into my pizza. Tried calling the restaurant and they didn’t answer. ?Disgusted and disappointed, will not be eating this pizza that I paid $20+ to get delivered.

Super nice people. The pizza was a little soft and didn’t hold up to the toppings (had too much cheese), but the flavor was great!

What a gem! The pizza here is amazing! The beer selection is great and if you don't try it, you are missing out. SOOOOOO GOOD!

Great pizza, strange dining experience. We walked in around dinner time, there were no other customers sitting down. We waited, and were not greeted, eventually the man sitting at the bar approached us and explained how it works. We take a menu to a table, figure out what we want, come back up front and order from the register, when it's done they will bring it out to our table. After getting our food and drinks the pizza was quite good. Thick Detroit style, great crust and very thick cheese topping. We were happy in the end, just a strange dining experience.

As you can see our pizza order was burned. The owner took steps to resolve the situation. But provided three stars because the salad had fresh greens and tasty flavors.

Spitfire was a very pleasant surprise. My brother and I were passing through Boise for the evening, after driving for more than 7 hours and this place was a welcomed find.It was pretty close to our hotel, so we walked there after googling places around. We were welcomed by a nice host/cashier who was very nice. She gave us some suggestions for local beer to try on their taps and every recommendation was great. We ordered our food to share (a medium pizza) and ended up devouring it to the point of wanting another. So we ordered another!March Madness were on at the time so we ended up staying seated with beers and our pizza for a while. Very comfortable place to hang. There are a lot of TVs.As I sat there, however, I tend to look over a place in detail after reviewing so many spots here on Google. And that's when I did notice the floor being a bit dirty. And all-around the dining area didn't seem super clean. Now, for me, I don't mind a bit of a mess. I understand staffing issues and the difficulty of having to stay on top of cleanliness. But even so, to be a 5-star place you have to to hit all the marks. They're pizza hits the mark. Absolutely delicious. The Detroit style is something I don't go out of my way to get, but this place does it right. Flavor, topping, non-greasy. I loved it.

The pizzas (lunch special deal) my wife were dripping in oil and didn’t have a lot of toppings. Granted it’s the lunch special and a watered down version of the main course, but some more toppings would have made for a more substantial meal. We didn’t try the Detroit style pizza, but as other reviews suggest I’m guessing those are of better quality.Nice selection of beers on tap.

Great dinner, very friendly atmosphere; very welcoming counter woman/waitress.

First, Spit Fire has 16 beers on tap!! My wife tried the tangerine wheat and loved it. For dinner, my wife had a baked veggie sub and I had a thin crust pizza. I loved the pizza, but my wife didn’t like the sub. It essentially had a few vegetables on it with no sauce or anything, so it was dry. Overall, this place was average tonight. Unfortunately, they forgot artichokes on my wife’s sub, didn’t bring the requested marinara and my wife ordered a separate side salad but then found out, when delivered, that it came with a salad. Finally, the food was slow coming out. In the end, good beer and pizza, but they need more attention to detail. We won’t likely go back.
