Completely rude staff made for a very unenjoyable experience. I get being short staffed but ignoring customers has nothing to do with a staff shortage.
We chose Solid to celebrate an engagement in our family. The primary reason was the good selection of vegan choices. Some of the dishes were spicer than expected, but overall we enjoyed everything from drinks and apps to the entrees. Our waitress was sharp and engaging and very gracious with our youngest diner (5). Definitely will be back to try more menu items!
I was really disappointed. I’ve eaten here before and had a good experience. They seated us near the back door and people kept entering and leaving through it allowing a very cold wind to enter. Even with our coats on we were cold, The food arrived and it was poor at best. Neither of us liked what we ordered (and we’ve had these dishes before). We ate the veggies on the plates and left the entrees. Waiter was competent but had no personality and really wasn’t friendly. This whole experience is a shame because Solid was one of our go-to places in the Bodo area.
This place is a Solid Zero. Skip it .

Not sure which one was better, the service or the food. BOTH were truly amazing! I will definitely be back here!
I should have listened to the other reviews about slow service, it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive and the restaurant was only 25% full. Food was OK, nothing great, would skip it if you have other options.
The most amazing and chill place you'll ever visit. Open til 2 a.m. Happy hour at the best time frames. THE FOOD...Is phenomenal. The service is fantastic. I absolutely love coming here. Especially when it comes to having a drink!
I just ate here while in Boise for a job with a colleague. Overall a good experience. Server was nice and prompt, it was super empty at the time we visited at 1:15PM on a Wednesday.My chicken and waffles was fine, chicken had no seasoning I could taste but everything was made to order and fresh.My colleagues chicken tacos were average as well, no complaints.The vibe there was not the best though. The music selection was terrible along with the decor, this place is maybe better at night. ??♂️I think with a little professional restaurant consulting this could be an awesome spot.If you’re in the area I think you could find other options with a better atmosphere.
