Customer service is great. Food is good. Been in here several times before but this last time I went in found a blonde hair in my sandwich after getting it home. I watched as the girls were making them and several times the gal with the long brown hair, her hair skimmed the counter and almost got into the sandwich itself as her ponytail was not pulled up high. Aa for the blonde, her hair hangs in her face and hangs over the food as she prepared it, hence a hair in my sandwich. Unfortunately I will probably not be back because of this. To bad because the bread is amazing!

The best sandwich I have ever had!!! I absolutely love sandwiches and I had to restrain from buying another one. Unfortunately I don’t live in the area and found this sandwich shop on a whim. I could not recommend it more! I had the roast beef sandwich and my husband had the pastrami. Both excellent! Not one thing I would change about it! And the customer service was awesome! I will definitely be back if I am ever in the area again.

I am so obsessed with the pastrami with coleslaw.. it's the best sandwich I've ever had!!

We came and tried the sourdough soup bowls with clam chowder and it was delicious!! Will definitely be coming here again.

Their Italian sandwich is one the best in the area !I would definitely recommend this place

Hot bread and cold meats, and the fresh bread really makes a difference. Definitely recomend, but in the end it's your typical deli shop, with not much to grab the attention

Came in yesterday for probably the 5th time in a few months. I came a little before closing placed my order for to go. My daughter placed her order. The regular lady that as always been there was taking orders. She is kind and friendly as usual. But the other lady was making my daughter's sandwich and repeatedly wiped adjusted her hair with her gloved had. Mentioned to the regular lady and she blew it off. Sorry wont be back. My daughter never did eat her sandwich.

I think this was the best sandwich I’ve had in a very long time! So delicious, and that sourdough bread…..Yummmm

Great service and sandwiches. Very efficient. ?

San Francisco Sourdough Eatery ⭐️⭐️⭐️I visited the Boise location of San Francisco Sourdough Eatery years ago but my experience was not memorable. I visited it for the second time on 12/10/21, prompted by a couple of great reviews by members of my FB group Southern Idaho Foodies, one of which mentioned this business having great soup.I ordered a specialty sandwich, Pastrami Topped with Coleslaw ($9.50) and a cup of Clam Chowder ($5.50). I like that my sandwich had lots of pastrami. I would have preferred it if the bread had been grilled because the combination of the hot meat, sauce a.k.a. special spread, and the coleslaw made it a bit soggy. I wouldn’t order this particular sandwich again because the flavor overall was a bit sweet for my taste, but I would like to try another sandwich. I gave half of my sandwich to a coworker who loves sandwiches. She enjoyed it. I didn’t care for the Clam Chowder, which came with 3 small slices of sourdough bread. But I would like to try some of their other soups. The next time I visit, I plan on ordering another specialty sandwich, The Open Face Italian Roast Beef. This is an East Coast sandwich. I’ve never seen it on any other menu in Idaho. I was told they order their Giardiniera from a company back East.I LOVED the Sourdough bread! I like that they sell sourdough loaves, which are actually the same sourdough baguettes they used to make their sandwiches with. I would give this business 5 stars based simply on the quality of their sourdough bread. I will definitely be stopping here the next time I need some great sourdough bread. The gentleman working the front counter told me the recipe they use is over 100 years old. I believe it.This is a clean and well-run business. The customer service was excellent! The gentleman at the counter was more than happy to answer all of my questions. I was in and out quickly. There are two locations in Southern Idaho. One is a Boise; the other is in Meridian. There are four locations in North Idaho.
