guten tag! This charming little piece of deutschland has an excellent selection of beer and German food for a nice afternoon out on their patio. I would not consider this a dinner place, more of lunch or snack stop.
Fun place to grab drinks, their food is actually pretty good too. The brat sampler and cheese pretzel are great in combination

Great beer and local favorite restaurant. The German Potato Salad was very good as well as the Pastrami Sandwich. Would definitely recommend it
This place is special.-Definitely a destination in Boise. The pub is cozy with close seating and lots of taps. You can ask for a punch card. If you fill it, you’ll win a prize and an opportunity to give a riveting speech. Muggers Mug!

Welcoming and friendly German bar. First time we sat inside and second time sat on the patio. Great waitress who both times made great reccos across the entire drink menu. Excellent pretzels too (get the cheese!)
As a Brit trying to find his place in America, Prost had played an invaluable role in helping me feel at home. PROPER beer, properly served in the proper environment. IPA lovers need not apply. If you want dark, malty, delicious goodness - Prost is where you need to be and one of very few places downtown you can find it.
The establishment is very nice! Very good selection of beers and the ciders are my favorite! Food is very good too! Overall a swell place to hangout alone or with company!
This place has many varieties of German beers. I had the Weihenstephaner Dunkel Weisse. I only wish they had schnitzel. I’ve been here several times and the food doesn’t disappoint, what with the tiny kitchen area.I had the pastrami and havarti sandwich on rye. A decent amount of meat, topped with sauerkraut, onions, aioli and really good mustard on some bitchin’ rye bread. The German warm potato salad was a great side. Pretty dang good food, and I lived in Germany for many years.
