fantastic food, great atmosphere and even better libations! we will be back soon!!!
I’ve never had anything here that I wouldn’t order again. I brought my entire family along on my last visit. I ordered a jambalaya-based breakfast burrito, my daughter ordered a fettuccini Alfredo wrap with grilled steak, and my wife and four boys split two classic burritos (one with grilled chicken and another with grilled steak—both with lime rice and pinto beans—all of which I find much better than what can be had at Chipotle) with two orders of chips and the house queso (called “gaucho”). We ended up sharing everything. The flavors were very diverse, but every dish was so great that I couldn’t say which I liked best. The cost with three soft drinks (before tip) was around $70, and it was a bit more than the seven of us could eat.The indoor and outdoor atmosphere are great. The inside is a sports bar, but somewhat unique because there are two floor levels and lots of natural light. The outside has several bar-height tables with fire heating in the center.I highly recommend this place. In my experience, you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu.
Everything is so good here. They have a nice outdoor area and a fun bar. Overall a great place to hangout
Staff is always cheery and upbeat. Dollar tacos are always a must. The sauces are delicious and the atmosphere of this place is fun.
The food here is really good. They are super fast even when completely packed. Chips and queso here is awesome would definitely recommend.
Everything about this place is fantastic. Been going there since 2018, sporadically. I only have one, ONE, criticism. Stop using clamato in your Bloody Marys. Let me school you in a tastier mix and leave the clam for something else. Other than that - this place is perfect. Me and mine go OUT OF OUR WAY to get some breakfast and a beer or drink on our way In, or Out of town. People make the place. Respect.
Sending appreciation for your establishment being one of the few wheelchair accessible restaurants in Hyde Park and I appreciate that I can enter your building through the front door, not a back entrance as though disabled customers were an after thought. Super friendly staff, and I love your nachos. Thank you!
Veggie Burrito with Fried Tofu is a guilty pleasure. You should definitely eat here if you're in the area. Love the fact that they have multiple Vegan options.
Parilla is a North End staple! IMO it's more so for the drinks (who doesn't love $2 Tecates) than the food which is generally mediocre. They have tons of tvs with more added last fall during an expansion and a great crowd to watch games with. Worth a stop for sure but maybe eat somewhere else on your way over.
Pretty solid place but the tortillas they use for the tacos were terrible. If you're going for small street tacos they should be served on small corn tortillas or at least better tasting flour tortillas.
