To start we were brought to a table that was not cleaned up. The server was a nice young man that was not trained very well. Are request for our drinks, food, and desert took forever, and they were not short handed. In fact I had to go find our server who was sitting in a booth talking with another server. I rarely give out bad reviews unless it's something like this. This is not in anyway to discourage people from coming here it's more that this establishment needs to manage better.
Waited a while to be seated, then waited quite another while to order. All in all, quite dissapointed it took them over 30 minutes to tell me they were out of their deep dish dough, so I got the Sicilian Rolls. Dissapointed that I waited over 30 minutes for these, they weren't worth it. Ginger was an amazing server, handling all those orders is quite the task. She deserves all the stars. Would come back but the waiting game isn't worth it. Went to Chik-Fil-A afterwards to fulfill the dissapointment.
We love this place and travel from out of town to eat here. The pizza is the best and we have always get great service. Brandi at the front is the best. Great big smile on her face and so good at multi tasking between take out orders, phone calls and seating people both in the front and back entrances. She is fair and sweet. Hard to find help like that in the service industry these days.
I've been to Old Chicago twice now, both times was with a group, both times ALL of our needs were met, the servers were on point. There was no looong wait. And our food was phenomenal. We have absolutely zero complaints ? We plan to eat here again, and probably several more times ?If you're debating on eating here, the answer is yes... YES you should!!!
Tonight was super disappointing when my family ordered food from old Chicago tonight. First of all, our chicken on the bacon and chicken Mac and cheese was completely dry and it wasn’t creamy at all, I can understand if this particular dish is better when you dine in however it’s upsetting when your really looking forward to having something yummy and I can’t even finish it because it was awful. Also if you want to charge $30 for a large pizza you would think you would at least put all the toppings requested, we got a large Italian sausage green pepper and onion and we got sausage and a splash of onion. Again disappointed. We also got fish and chips and the fish and chips were not even cooked correctly, the fries were hard and over cooked and the fish batter was soft, we’ve had to go fish and chips many times and it never tastes this bad, we also paid for extra toppings on our Italian nachos and we didn’t get the extra toppings either so really we paid more money than what we even received. Not sure we will ever order from here again, it’s not worth being disappointed when as a business you should take pride in making sure you take our order correctly and then also preparing it as it was ordered! There was quite the confusion due to system issues when taking our order tonight. Yet when we confirmed they read it off correctly, so again doesn’t make sense how our order could get messed up this bad.
I had the Spinach Artichoke Dip & their dough/Grilled Chicken & Buffalo sauce. They were terrific and a large portion I made it my meal, the Dip however I didn’t care for it just didn’t have a good flavor. But I’ll definitely eat here again when traveling through.
Came here the other week on a Saturday evening so we had to wait about 30 minutes for a table, which wasn't bad for 4 adults and 2 kids. We could tell they were a little short staffed because the servers and hosts were running around a lot, but they still made it a point to check in and take care of us.What I really appreciated is when the food came out, our server let me know that he forgot to put my order in on time and it would be a few extra minutes. He also made sure to tell me that he was taking care of my food and not charging me for it.I didn't get his name, but the fact that he stepped up and took responsibility for his mistake speaks volumes on the quality of employee he is. The food tasted great and his service was definitely appreciated.
Favorite pizza place in treasure valley. I always take out, but the staff is always friendly and the Italian sausage pizza is the absolute best. It's at the mall, but I go out of my way to order from here. Nowhere else compares. I'm a new york thin crust guy, but old Chicago has become my go to.
the burgers were great and the beer was good
My two daughters and I stop in to dine. After getting seated we were ignored for 53 minutes. Got up and asked to get something to drink. She said be rite over. After twenty minutes we decided to go somewhere else. I can understand if they were busy but they were not. Two other tables got their for and finished after we came in. I can't recommend anyone to dine here.
