We ordered take out and picked it up in the drive-thru from North End Chinese. Despite what their website reads, the only way you can dine at this time is via delivery or takeout. The food was really good! I highly enjoyed the shrimp fried rice and the wontons. I’m not fully certain about the appetizer sample, which I ordered as well. It was not my favorite menu item. Overall, I would say the restaurant is affordable, with quick service, the process was very straightforward and the food was great!
Great prices! Good quick service. Good soft noodle chow mein. Special chow mein is great! Pan fried noodles, egg foo young, Mongolian beef are very good. Have ordered here many many times for take and pick up. When we ordered this last time though we wanted it delivered and they do not have anyone to deliver so even tho they advertise that they deliver it isn't even an option. Boo!!!This last time they were out of hot mustard excuse me but isn't that a staple for Chinese food? Taking away a star for that! Do not like the sesame chicken or the sechswan beef or the moo goo gia pan. The fried rice can be hit n miss weird.
We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident, but we were pleasantly surprised at how affordable they are. The food is prepared to order and is beautifully presented. The portions are decent and very tasty!
Let me start with i review food from Nevada to new York. The food was well seasoned but dont order anything on the beef or shrimp. The chef cooks very cheap but charges alot. My date picked up Mongolian beef and shrimp chow main and it was complete cheap trash. For $ 14 the Mongolian was packed with onions and bairly any beef and my date had 4 shrimps in his whole order. I could had bought a whole bag of onions for $2 for the amount of onions that was disrespectfully stuffed in my container with a sprincle of beef.....ghetto cheap tacky Chinese food that litrally leaves u feelin robbed. Anything chicken is fine....but then again chicken is cheap.
The food is great for takeout but I wouldn’t go there for a sit down meal. I love the delivery options and the Crab Rangoon is the best in town.
This place... The last time I had Chinese this good... That home made feel and taste was over 20 years ago in Colorado. The chow main noodles were perfect texture and seasoning. I'll be becoming a regular
We ordered from here last night. We got beef fried rice, egg rolls, spicy mandarin chicken, and sweet & sour chicken with fried rice.The chicken in both chicken dishes tasted really weird. We couldn’t even finish it.The pork fried rice was white rice. How can you say it’s pork fried rice when it’s not even made right.The egg rolls tasted like they came out of a package you get from the dollar store.And the beef fried rice was the same as the pork fried rice.Will never order from here again. Haven’t been able to find a good Chinese places since I moved to Boise. Makes me really sad.
Lady working front counter was extremely disrespectful after I came back to get my order and tried to charge me again for my food after they forgot to include my chicken in my meals. I figured I would try a new restaurant and support local after covid hurt a lot of local businesses needless to say I won’t be returning or recommending this restaurant to anyone.do yourself a favor and choose a different place to eat
I ate there earlier their fried rice was so salty and there chicken was so dry wasn't mandarin chicken last time I eat there
Delicious Chinese food. Take out only. The General chicken is as good as I have eaten anywhere. Definately go there again when I'm in town
