6/1/2022 So disappointing. Chicken Lo Mein had absolutely no flavor; vegetable fried rice was also bland; kung pao chicken had a flavorless white sauce not like any kung pao we’ve enjoyed before. Shrimp egg foo young and gravy had a little more flavor but nowhere near what we think of as good EFY. The egg rolls had uncooked dough between vegetables and crispy dough. They were terrible. We threw away $50 of food it was all so bad. Go elsewhere!
Honestly, the chow mein was so bland and flavorless I had to add a bunch of soy sauce. The biggest issue I had here was I ordered “curry shrimp” and I kid you not when I say I had LESS THAN 10 SHRIMP IN THE ENTIRE TAKEOUT BOX. The rest was filled with hugely chopped onions and bell peppers. Not to mention the sauce itself was so think like glue with little flavor. The picture is after it say for a while and settled, and when I dumped it out to find all 8 pieces of shrimp! The photo is only vegetables left in my “curry shrimp” I do not recommend this place at all. The Chinese buffet is better.
Never again. I loved the food and all. Til the employee was rude and disrespectful. Had my order all wrong. I asked for my money back and she argued with me and I asked her 5 times to give me my money back and I said it nicely. She got all upset and started arguing. Not professional at all. Also stressed me out and made me uncomfortable. Never going back.
We ate here for the first time on Sunday. My wife is on a broth soup kick. She absolutely loved their $6 Sweet and Sour soup and I had the War Soup. Both were fantastic! We ate their on Monday too, fantastic again.
Absolutely delicious! My taste buds were in heaven. Not to mention the delivery was 10 minutes ahead of schedule and she was super nice!
I ALWAYS ORDER A LARGE WOR WON TON SOUP TO GO. ONCE A WEEK IN THE WINTER. THE BEST FLU FIGHTER OUT THERE. THE INGREDIENTS ARE ALWAYS FRESH AND THE WON TON DUMBLINGS ARE SWEET. I ORDER MINE WITH PEA PODS AND HOT MUSTARD. CONSISTANTCY IN TASTE IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME AND THEIR SOUP IS ONE OF THE BEST IN THE CITY. ENJOY!!!!!!
We have ordered from this place prior and greatly enjoyed their food. It was great for the price paid and amount and quality delivered. Last night we ordered again and it was the worst. It was over 100 dollars mostly just rice, we had orders of mandarin chicken and only received one of those.. This place has gone to hell lately. I will never order from them again!!!!!
AWFUL food! I ordered Mongolian beef and my wife ordered Kung Pao chicken. I’ve ordered Mongolian beef from a bunch of different places and the Mongolian beef from this place did not taste anything like Mongolian beef. I don’t know how to describe it. It was just bad. You know that tastey Chinese food smell you get when you bring home takeout? Yeah, this stuff did not smell like that. Not sure how to describe the smell but it wasn’t pleasant. I’m not a picky person and I’ve never left a review before. The only reason I’m leaving this is because they refused to give me my money back. I called them 10 mins after receiving food but no one answered because they were already closed. I called the next day and explained politely that we didn’t like the food and asked if we could have a refund. They refused to give me a refund. They says the only way they would was if I came by the restaurant and dropped off the old food. Well, the food smelled terrible so the first thing I did was take it to the dumpster. It never occurred to me to hold onto the food for a refund. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!!
Food was absolutely terrible!! Hands down, the WORST Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life. Not exaggerating here, it was awful. Worst part is that the owner refused to give us a refund. Said that we would have to bring the food back to the restaurant to prove we didn’t eat it to get a refund! I couldn’t believe it. That food smelled so bad that the first thing I did was take it out of our apartment and tossed it straight in the dumpster! Avoid this place!!!
Gave two stars because we ate the food, but that is probably generous. Two out of the four dishes were not as described on the menu. Almost everything was dominated by onion and celery. As far as customer service goes, knowing they would likely be busy as it was New Years Eve, I placed the order online at 3:00 and selected a 6:30 pickup time. When I arrived at 6:30 a large number of people were waiting for their orders. We ended up not getting our order until 7:30. I think most of the other customers encountered similar delays. They did not have a plan for managing their orders. Very, very disappointing, likely won't be back.
