Nahm Thai & Burmese Cuisine ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️On 6/15/22, JP and I went to check out one of Boise’s newest and most highly rated restaurants. JP got there early and met RC, who we invited to join our table. We eat family style, sharing a salad, three entrées and two desserts. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We had a wonderful evening. We will definitely be back.Tea Leaf Salad ($13.95) - House fermented Sencha tea leaf, Romaine, spring mix, tomato, cucumber, fried garlic, fried shallot, nuts and seeds, fresh squeezed lemon juice. None of us had ever had a tea leaf salad before. We loved it. This salad not only is beautiful to look at, it has a lot going on flavor wise. The fried garlic and shallots, along with nuts and seeds, give it some nice crunch.Hung Lay ($17.95) - Rich and sweet curry with pork belly, ginger, pickled garlic, pearl onion, tamarind, served with cucumber relish. We ordered this dish with sticky rice. While we all liked each of the entrées, RC and I thought this one stood out above the other two. Pork belly isn’t my favorite, but I’m beginning to think I just haven’t had a great pork belly before. Hands-down, this is the best pork belly dish I’ve ever had. I don’t like sweet entrées. Personally, I did not consider this curry to be sweet. I would simply say it’s more complex than spicy, in terms of heat level.Green Curry with Beef ($18.95) - Green curry paste in rich and creamy coconut milk, braised beef shank, Kaffir lime leaves, green beans, bamboo shoots and basil. Comes with rice. Paratha and cucumber relish. We ordered this dish with coconut rice. This was JP’s favorite entree. I enjoyed it but Green Chicken Curry is my go to dish the first time I check out a Thai restaurant, so eating it made with beef is a different experience. I would not hesitate to order again, but next time I would ask if it could be made a little spicier. Usually when I get green curry, I ask for it to be made with the same spice level as it would in Bangkok.Yellow Curry with Fried Chicken ($18.95) - Thai Hat-yai style fried chicken with yellow coconut curry, onion, tomato and potatoes. Served with roti, rice and cucumber relish. We ordered this dish with sticky rice. We all enjoyed this dish, and it was one of my favorites. Hat-Yai fried chicken is a popular street food in Thailand. It’s typically served with sticky rice. This entrée comes with a serving of yellow curry to go with it. JP and RC Both felt they would prefer the dish if the chicken came in the curry, but I loved it just as it was. I really like the fried chicken, some of which I dipped in the curry before eating. But I liked the fried chicken skin just as it was. Next time though, I would ask if they could boost the spice level in the curry.Chocolate Banana Roti ($8) - Thai roti with banana, chocolate sauce and condensed milk. We all enjoyed this desertMango Sticky Rice ($8.95) - With coconut milk cream. This dessert was our favorite.*Nahm means water in Thai.Location: 577 E. Park Blvd. #110 - BoiseHighly Recommended!!!

The new kid on the block. And boy is it busy!Open barely a month, and packed on a Thursday night. Everybody raves about the food, rightly so. Takeout and dine-in, no matter, they have to crank it out as fast as they can, alas with the now obligatory "help wanted" sign out front.Thank you Michael D. for the tip in the Statesman. Not quite as authentic as Deeds stated, there is some American sweetness in most dishes, and the heat is mild. But I wasn't too concerned, as the coconut broth with the beef was excellent and accompanied by a good selection of veggies with the rice noodles. The beef pieces were huge, in good Idaho fashion - not necessary for my taste.Interesting were the rice choices, as you can order brown rice or sticky rice, in addition to the usual white and fried. As vegetarian or vegan you have choices, too, with well made tofu and al dente broccolini. The people are just delightful, friendly and humble, hardworking folks.Come and enjoy, then tip generously.

This place is so great!!!!! We moved from Seattle and have been looking for some non-Americanized Thai food and this place is it! Super quaint on the inside, very very kind staff, and deliciously huge portions that are beautifully plated. You WILL WAIT. They are extremely short staffed and very apologetic. They get slammed by to-go orders which sometimes extends the experience for dine-in guests. They are working nonstop though, so go out and support this local business and their super tasty food! Good vegan options too! I got the chicken curry with coconut rice which is something you should consider when you are ready to be in a delicious curry coma. Also got the green beans (yum) and the tea leaf salad (also yum).

I went with a friend after noticing this opened recently. I was able to use my Google assistant to set a reservation without calling myself. That was convenient. The staff was very friendly. The food was very good. I didn't take a photo of the food because I was hungry! The atmosphere was clean and comfortable. The beer was cold. I recommend this place.

Literally the best meal we’ve had in Boise. The owners are so kind and the food is incredibly good. It’s so much more creative and ambitious than any other southeast Asian place in Idaho. We had the papaya salad, the Penang curry, and the yellow curry with fried chicken. Their presentation is amazing!! They are clearly a little understaffed so be patient, be kind, and you will be rewarded with a delicious meal.

My hubby and I had lunch at Nahm today. The restaurant was remodeled and really cute. The service was good almost to good. The waitress watching our every move made us a little uncomfortable. The food was good. We paid $44.96 for lunch, so it's abit pricey.

WOW! This place knocks it out of the park. The service was crazy fast, and the food was 5 star. We started with a Nahm Mojito, and Singha beer. The mojito was a spin on a regular mojito and I was not disappointed. We had the Chicken Satay and Samosas for appetizers. We ordered the Pad Thai with Tofu and the Hot Fried Chicken Yellow Curry. I was blown away with the detail and presentation. The chicken was so crispy and flavorful. Honestly one of the better dishes we have eaten in Boise. At the end I accidentally forgot our takeaway boxes on the table and the owner ran them out to our car to catch us before we left. So impressed with this place!!

Nicely remodeled , food was good I tried the lunch special pad tai noodles ,my wife had the fried rice

I ordered the Fierry Chicken for takeout: was the best Thai food I’ve had in years. Was fresh, lite, plus nice and spicy. Order was ready in less than 5 minutes. This is our new Thai joint in Boise.

My husband and I were so excited to try this Thai restaurant tonight on Doordash. It was amazing! The Panang Curry was the best I’ve ever had - absolutely perfect. My husband also loved his pad Thai with chicken. His only complaint was that the entree size was a little small. The Cashew Nut Tofu was my FAVORITE. We also ordered an order of mango sticky rice for dessert and agreed it was the BEST we’ve ever had. Please support this new Boise gem!!! We can’t wait to go back.
