delicious authentic home cooking feel! don't expect big portions. this isn't an American sized portion.
Delicious! Traveling to Boise for work and South Indian food been my fav cuisine was looking for options. Spot this place. It took me by surprise. By far the best South Indian dishes I have had in a long time after moving to US. New menu everyday. Very flavorful and fresh. Must go! Highly recommend. Great service.
This is our favorite Indian place! The flavors are super bold. Portions are excellent. And the prices are fantastic. We have done Dine-in and take-out and we'll go again many times. They change their menu daily and there are many things we are new to and found we love!
I had the chicken curry and it was absolutely EXCELLENT. It was savory and had a little heat or shall i say a hint of spice that was perfectly balanced. If you are up for some curry,, patronize this restaurant the taste is unbeatable its not overpriced and you will walk out satisfied.
Will come here every time we’re in town! I’ve been to India 3 times and this is by far the most authentic food I’ve had and so good. The service was amazing as well, makes me want to book another trip! Yum!
I've been going here every week for atleast 2 days out of the week. The food is amazing, portions are just right and prices are set accordingly. I love the rotating menu and the simplicity makes it very quick to order for larger parties. Filter coffee is the BEST I order 2 for myself just because it reminds me of home. I've gotten to know Arun over the past few weeks of going there and his story is fascinating! Very talented guy and supportive family making it all happen and you can see their passion shine through the food and hospitality. If you've never tried South Indian food, there's no better place to start than here.
The food is authentic and good most of the time. The slow service here is something we have become accustomed to. It is a family owned business. They are nice here but don't expect your food to come out all together especially if you have a big party. If you are patient the food is really good and the prices are too. We love the dosa here
Amazing food! All items were fresh. As the name suggests, it's an authentic South Indian restaurant. I had MV special dosa and Idli. Coconut chutney was worth everything. Highly recommended! Keep up the good work!
We just ate at Madurai Virundhu tonight. They deserve six stars. Here’s why. We showed up as a party of 12 without reservations. They quickly welcomed and accommodated us. The food was fresh and delicious. Not a long wait and a very family friendly environment. We’re very grateful!
My husband and I really love Madurai. We haven’t been able to eat dosa and idli since we went to India, and what a lovely surprise to find it in Boise! I do wish the other plates came out a little spicier and warmer, our korma was just over room temperature, nevertheless we will be frequenting this delicious establishment a lot I’m sure!
