Their menu is not large but makes up for it in quality. Easily the best tacos you find around. I had the blackened salmon, chorizo, and Korean bbq rib tacos. All three have been flavorful and tasty. Their service while I have gone has also been great.
I will be back often! The food is delicious. Pineapple El Pastor taco was my fav, but there wasn’t anything on our plates that I wouldn’t try again. The flavors were fresh unique and amazing. Who would have thunk blue cheese could belong in a taco? Yum
Cute place, nice atmosphere. Tacos were so different, but so good! The Bahn mi with pork belly was excellent, as was the pineapple al pastor - loved the surprise of blue cheese! Canned margaritas were potent, also a good selection of beers. Downsides were the tacos were lukewarm & parking is a challenge. We would go back tho!
Tacos are insanely dry. Their hot sauce of choice, if you ask for h/s, is Valentina. Tortillas are below average. Their salsa is good, but under salted. Glad I tried it. Won’t be coming back. Take your business elsewhere. Many great taco places around the valley. This is NOT one.
The best burrito, chips and salsa that I have ever had. Not your typical, run of the mill Mexican fare. The chef and his staff are friendly and welcoming. I'll be back!
We ate lunch here yesterday. The food was fabulous! My husband and I were both very happy with the flavor of our meals. And we are very picky food critics! I took off a star because we waited a very long time (maybe 20-30 mins) for just his lunch and mine (two tacos and a burrito). I also ordered a cider, which came in a small glass, but still cost $7. I would describe the food and drinks here as very expensive. It’s definitely cute and well done, but I’m sorry, $16 for a burrito at lunchtime and $15 for my husbands two tacos is just way too much. We didn’t have them, but also couldn’t help but notice it’s $11 just for chips and guacamole. Bring the prices down a little and we will be back!
I have to say this is by far the "BEST" Mexican food I ever had!! It was fresh, crispy, soft, flavorful and seasoned to perfection!! The atmosphere was relaxed and easy going. It was quiet when I got there and filled up quick. The food was perfect, service was excellent and the owner came out to talk to myself and my party. Yes it's pricey but, well worth the price. I will definitely be back and recommend it to you and all my friends!! Great food, beer selection and service!! Five stars all the way!!
My family and I went to Madras for the first time tonight and it was a wonderful experience! Not only is the restaurant adorable the staff was amazing. Everyone is friendly and their customer service is top notch! Their food is by far the best Mexican food I have had since moving here 17 years ago. This is my new favorite restaurant! Thank you for great service!
Not your typical street tacos! Madre has a fast casual atmosphere in that you order at a register and the food and drink is delivered to your table. They have a nice outdoor patio. Parking can be a little difficult while BSU is in session.
