Fabulous food. I had chicken makhani and my friend had chicken korma. The papadam was delicious too.
Wonderful, tasty food and great service. There were several vegetarian dishes that looked delicious. You must have the mango-yogurt drink to cool your spicy hot mouth!
CELIACS beware! We have always loved this place, the food is great and almost everything other than the naan is gluten free. I always ask to be sure when ordering our take out. On our recent order the shrimp looked breaded so I called to double check, he assured me it was fine then he double checked and there was actually flour in the meal. No apology or offer to refund as I paid for and took a meal home that I couldn’t eat. I’m thankful I was careful and didn’t eat it for my health, but so disappointed in the service and obvious neglect in taking food allergies seriously.
looking for Indian cuisine and tried to visit a different one that was closed for lunch so decided to try Madhuban. Located in an old but refurbished strip mall, it still feels old and fair in cleanliness. Basic metal chairs with about 5-7 tables and a buffet off to one side that wasn't open the day we were there. Had a table set up for take out so I did think it would be a hot spot for take out dinners because of its busy corridor location. The service was quick, from the way he spoke to the delivery of food. No real interaction other than the basics. The food was priced reasonable and it was ok. There is nothing good or bad I can say other than it was hot and ok. I will comment that it was great that you have your choice of spiciness from 1-5. Mine was 2 and had a nice smooth flavor and my husbands was 5 and he loved the heat and said it fulfilled its promise.
Quick service even for a busy Sunday evening in this intimate space. Food was definitely delicious but they certainly don't skimp on the spice. I feel I've got a pretty strong tolerance but even a 3 for our chicken vindaloo had me hurting. Looking forward to going back but will likely need to lower the heat level. Be warned, they take spice seriously!
I try to eat here twice a week. Best Indian cuisine in the state. Staff is amazing. Be wary of spice levels if you’re not accustomed. Start with a 2 and work your way up. 5 is nuclear & delicious. Try the Aloo Chana.. it’s not just for vegans. Lamb Vindaloo is out of this world.
Family owned and operated, so you never know who you’re going to get serving tables. The food is always good. If it’s the lunch rush it’s going to be busy. This is our go-to take out option. Chicken Jal Frezi with garlic naan is hands down my favorite.
First real adventure into Indian cuisine and….it was a home run! Awesome staff, patient, and the food was absolutely awesome. Looking forward to our next visit.
The portion sizes were perfect! Pleasant atmosphere! There were so many menu choices and everything was amazing! I think this has been a well-kept secret! It was a budget-friendly evening out!
