I ordered the “shrimp tempura “ and no where did it say that every part of my rice would be mixed with onions. I would have specifically said “ no onions” if it did. But no… I got my roll with onions in every part of my rice and I couldn’t even eat my roll. Why? Just why so many onions? Why is it in the rice so I can’t even pick it off? It, at least, should be in the menu that they come riddled with onions! Why can’t I know the ingredients? I would have ordered something different!
Visited the location on Bogus Basin Rd for the first time but second visit to Lulu's but have to say the second visit was a great experience. Very professional, friendly, and hard working staff. The pizza was definitely better and food was amazing. Loved the atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting this location again. Thank you
This is my absolute favorite pizza. 2 giant slices and a soda for 7 bucks? Yes please! The people who work there are high quality individuals and they make the best NY style I've had in Idaho. Wish there was a Lulu's in Nampa, for that reason I always stop in for lunch whenever I'm nearby. Try the popper if you like a little spicy, but not too much. It's amazing!
Saw this place advertised online.. I just had to give it a shot. And boy am I happy I did!! I'm from the east coast where pizza has its own style, and after moving to Boise, I've been trying to find something close to what I used to get out there. And I have finally found it, this pizza has the perfect structure with almost no flop to the slice, the cheese and sauce are perfectly distributed and tastes delicious. If you are a fan of NY style pizza with a lower calorie count than some of the other greasy pizza's around us, then lulu's is the place to go!!
Excellent place to hit after a day at Bogus! Great New York style pizza and the sushi was good too. It's a unique combination but I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was!
This is my wife and my favorite local pizza joint. Have not tried the sushi but I heard it's decent. The only thing I would add is I would love to see a little bit more variety and choices from time to time but please do not get rid of the bacon mozzarella jalapeno pizza that is absolutely one of my favorites.
Each slice of pizza is a good size. The lunch special is great! I would just like a few more options of pizza.
SO bummed to write this review! I LOVE LuLu’s pizza, it’s my husband and I’s all time favorite. Unfortunately in the last 6 months or so, we never get it. They’ve basically lost our previous weekly/2 times weekly business and recommendations. They are impossible to contact, we’ve called 5 times now on different days at different times to place an order and the line just beeped like it was dead. Not a voice message, didn’t even ring. Just dead. We tried to order online where it said “unavailable” on a Friday night at 7pm? Finally it worked at 8 pm but only half the menu that’s listed on their website was listed on the online ordering menu. This literally makes it impossible for us to order and get a pizza. Once we finally said fine, we will drive there and place our order and wait for it (we live 45 mins away, so that shows how much we love and support this business, and we drove almost an hour to LuLus we found it was closed. Nobody there.. no different hours posted on the door. Google hours said they were open. Their facebook page hasn’t been updated since 2013… I’m not sure how they expect to get business when they make it impossible for anyone to place an order or come get pizza.Such a bummer. Help your customers out! We lover you and want to support you! Help us help you!
We get take out from Lulu’s @bogus almost every Friday for our end of week treat. The pizza is always perfectly cooked and they do a fantastic job on the sushi. We normally get the amazing and suckafish rolls (which we love) and rotate them out with others. This time we tried the key west roll and I have to admit, it wasn’t my favorite but that’s a personal taste issue. I also really appreciate that Lulu’s has replaced the clamshell plastic containers with recycled plastic containers.
Have been there 3 weeks in a row. And every single time the food has been delicious and the service is great. The atmosphere is very cozy
