My steak salad was excellent! The waitress was very congenial and pleasant. I'll definitely go back for another dinner!
Very good food. Good service, had the parmesan mushroom for appetizer, was amazing and tasteful. Good to have bread for the extra parmesan.For the main course had the 6oz filet with lobster, and brussel sprouts. The steak was done great and the lobster was good.Had the chocolate lava with ice cream. This is were I was not greatly impressed. The cake came out not hot and there really was no molten lava in the middle. Just was on top. Was like having a chocolate cake, with ice cream and warm fudge on top.In all good place to eat and enjoy.
Best Steaks at reasonable prices. No gristle and the fat melts in your mouth!$27 Bone in Outlaw Ribeye 20oz...photo is all my wife could eat...I ate all of mine. Worth every penny!Update...she finished it for lunch...No steak sauce required. Best grilled flavor!Longhorn never has disappointed me. I have eaten there in ID, KS, TX, AZ and CA.
We were staying nearby and had hoped to eat at Cheesecake Factory early but the wait was 2 hours. So glad that we decided to eat here instead. There was still a half hour wait, but when we were seated the service was quick and it was excellent. Our waiter was Kyle and he looked after us very well, advising on steaks and how they should’ve cooked. He even took some photos (I was celebrating this being my 50th state to visit) and gave us the complimentary “birthday ice cream” to help the celebration. The steaks were cooked to perfection - even my “very well done” steak- and tasted superb. Will definitely use this chain again.
We had a great time at the Longhorn Steakhouse in Boise. We opted to sit at the bar so that we didn’t have to wait and our bartender and server, Crystal was attentive and conversational but let us enjoy our meal. Even if we had decided to wait for a table, it would only have been 15 minutes. I had the renegade steak and shrimp and my wife had lobster and salad. All of our food was excellent and we would definitely go back there again. If you’re looking for a great meal, great service and a comfortable, informal atmosphere, the Longhorn Steakhouse is highly recommended.
Alright, the scenery and vibe of the restaurant is good, there is complimentary bread served with butter which is always nice and tasted very good. Me and my date both got steaks expecting a lot, but honestly there is nothing special about their steaks and they were pretty mediocre. But, I will say, for the appetizer we got their stuffed mushrooms and OMG they are to die for!!!! If you go, you got to get them, other than that, it’s a pretty priced place, expect to pay around $55-$75 for two people.
Nice atmosphere, terrific service and delicious food! stuffed mushrooms were superb, the bread was fresh and soft, steak was incredibly flavorful (got their 6oz flo) and drinks were nice and strong! Lost one star because dessert was fried donuts and tasted like Cajun donuts instead of donuts, this was clearly due to frying in same basket/oil as Cajun food and it was one of the most disgusting tastes I have ever had! Also steak was too rare when I ordered medium...but still very delicious and I wish horseradish was fresh and not creamy. That might be a little picky but at approx $40-50/per person, I am going to be a bit picky.

We have been to LongHorn before but it has been some time. We were seated quickly and our server was friendly and efficient. My outlaw ribeye was great! Cooked to perfection and fork tender. Having tired of starches, I ordered the broccoli as the side. It was done al dente and was tasty but a little cool, not anyone's fault it's just tough to keep warm with the dish. Everyone else ordered the sirloin and shrimp combo and they reported it was good. A few weeks ago, we went to an expensive steakhouse which cost literally 4 times what our supper here was, and the food at longhorn was better
Always worth the money we spend here. Staff is super friendly. The food never disappoints. This was a lunch special pepper steak salad with lobster & shrimp chowder. Perfect portion size.
