I was here with a large group (we had called ahead). We were seated promptly; cocktails arrived quickly; dinner orders arrived quickly. Food was GOOD!!! (what more could you want?)
The food was very good, my filet was excellent!
My wife had the filet with an Idaho baked potato and the roasted garlic and brie and I chose the 16 oz barrel steak, potato and house salad. Everything was spectacular and up to par for this weary traveler! (Passing through from New Mexico)
Had my wife's birthday party here this past Saturday. Made a reservation and was told we would have ample seating upstairs. Got to the restaurant and found we were competing with High school prom night. No upstairs. We just barely fit at the table. The waitress was doing a good job, thank God for the tall bus boy who was going above and beyond. Refilled several drinks for us as the waitress was really busy. The food was great. Steak was cooked perfectly. They were out of shrimp and lobster tails though. I was looking forward to that. Great coffee ice cream cake was served. I highly recommend it. All in all a great time and good food. Also to note, the bar area had live entertainment and the area was full. Attention management: The tall busboy shoulder length hair, give him an aata-boy for the great customer service.
Alrighty...tried this place for the first time. Great atmosphere. There was a band playing which was cool. The tables were set nice when we sat down. There were glasses on the table. Both of our glasses had lip prints on them. Yuck. Our waitress quickly got us new glasses. We asked for recommendations. Our waitress suggested the barrel steak and the mozzarella filet. We went with those. They have a salad bar with soup you get with your order. The salad bar was okay. Nothing spectacular. But, we were there for the steaks! The food presentation was good. I had the horseradish mashed potatoes with the barrel steak and my hubby had the scalloped potatoes with the filet. The barrel steak was a top sirloin (not my normal go to) and I had it cooked medium. It came out perfect. But...it was so dang tough! I had mushrooms put on top for $3.99 and it was not worth it. The mozzarella topped filet was ordered medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. It was actually REALLY good. The price is spendy, which if fine for a good steak. There just wasn't a wow factor with these steaks. Our waitress was top notch! It was fun to try out once.
Amazing amazing food. Had the prime rib on recommendation!! 2 sides and AND soup and salad included... Worth every penny... Live band was great as well
Excellent service! Excellent food! Make sure you make a reservation!
Great meal and great service for a Valentines dinner with Patricia and Melissa.
My husband, daughter and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was delicious. We shared the 20oz prime rib. It had great flavor and so did all of the sides and soups. Service was great and we loved the live music. Well done! We'll be back.
So we Googled "STEAKHOUSE BOISE" LS&B did NOT disappoint. We reserved a table but showed up 45 minutes early and they SAT US IMMEDIATELY. Food was SO good! The service was great. Our waiter was very attentive and didn't miss anything. The salad bar itself could have been a meal. We had the Prime Rib and Ribeye Steak. The baked potato was hidden under all the butter sour cream and bacon!!! The margarita was amazing. The rolls OH my the rolls were little pieces of warm heaven that melt in your mouth. Only recommendation? Packets of honey for the rolls. It was a birthday celebration so they brought us dessert. Who's ever idea it was to make their desserts so BIG was a genius. We will be back. Pricey? Maybe a little. Worth it?? YES.
