Had lunch at the Lemon Tree and it was good. Had a variation of a Rubin Sandwich and while I still like the good old fashioned pastrami Rubin, this was a nice change for once. Sandwich was huge!
We were recommended this place by locals and oh my....by far the best sandwiches we ever had. Vegetarian mushroom sandwich was so flavourful and delicious. It's not easy to make veggie sandwiches that good. The meat one(sausage, Applewood bacon) was absolutely delicious. The crunch of some chips they add to it makes the sandwich. It was so good we went back the next day.
Delicious food and good vibes. The only thing stopping me from the the full 5 stars is their dang menu. It was super clustered and hard to track and while the idea of a chalk board menu is a cool idea it makes the customer experience difficult. But the food was very yummy! Get the pear and sausage sandwich if you want something yummy and safe!
I’m shocked this place has good ratings. The staff was very nice but the food was not good. The salad was enormous and absolutely drenched in olives. It was so salty I could barely eat it.
I'm so in love with this place! The food, style, and quality! The beet salad is so delicious! I order the Massamam curry sandwich every time. I want to try other things but I LIVE for this sandwich. It's a such a creative combination of mouth watering flavors!! Keep up the great work!
So damn good! Listen I literally swallowed their sausage and pear salad ?. I wasn’t a fan of the dressing paired with it, little too sweet but fire with Cesar dressing. Recommend to people who love pop and flavor for salad, next level goodness.
Good food, but be very aware of their hours. They close at 4pm on Saturdays. We arrived shortly before 4 not knowing they were about to close. We spent $52 on two sandwiches and three drinks (20% tip included). I wish they would have told us they were about to close. We would have gone somewhere else. Upon close they started playing “Closing Time” by Semisonic on repeat and loud until we packed up and left. We were here from out of town and we had only decided to eat at Lemon Tree because we saw it on the news the night before when they were taking about opening their second location. We chose to eat at their downtown location because of it’s location, but ultimately found ourselves paying more than we would normally for lunch and feeling very unwelcome. I really wish they would have just told me they were about to close. We could have eaten anywhere else.

First time going to Lemon Tree. I will say the food is delicious and very unique. The main issue was kitchen chaos! I feel like this restaurant would do better with a closed kitchen concept. The line is small and the staff were walking on top of each other and our food was passed through many hands and placed on several different surfaces before it was given to us. The wait was over 40 mins long.
Lemosa’s are dangerously tasty and I love the variety and unique flavors in all of their food. The staff worked really well together and even the girl at the cashier that seemed quite new did a great job and was really helpful with the menu. The only con I have is that the menu is so vast it’s really easy to get lost in the massive blackboard of choices ?
