Went on Sunday morning and had a homemade plate of biscuits and gravy ? down home hospitality from the staff! I will definitely be going back.
Long time lover of Jumpin Janet's. It's recently under new management but Janet still comes by, which is wonderful!Their kitchen was a little shaky after the pandemic, but it's back on track and whoever's back there now, is slam dunking it. The food is once again, Janet's classic, all baked or air fried, with good salads and delicious burgers. Prime rib is also here to stay it and I couldn't be happier. When its available, you MUST get it. It's so good! The waitresses are great and I'm glad to see how well they've trained the gals on taking orders and serving drinks. They also now have card readers brought to the table which makes checkout go a lot faster and easier. As always drinks are made well and beer is always cold! Was pleasantly surprised the bartender was able to make a martini too. Janet's in not a one show pony.Bathrooms are always clean and overall the patio is well taken care of with lots of plants. It truly is a Boise bar with Boise friendly people.
Service is good. Drinks aren't special, it is a bit run down it does have a bar fare kitchen available for food. The best thing is they have a couple pool tables and pull tab machines! Revision 7/4/22 went there to play pull tabs Bout 9 pm had an excellent Moscow Mule!! Perfect! Got hangry was told they had a limited menu but the "cook" came out was cooking a special burger menu for the "bikers" offered ma a burger and side choice while he was making the special order! First of all how nice was that and second it was HELLA bombIt was emptier than I have ever seen it the music was kinda bad on the jukebox and it was way too loud. But let the drinks the food and the service was HELLA ? awesome! It was great that's all I can say(?)
Nice place, nice bartenders and servers. 4 pool tables. Their quarter toss game is fun too. They have a giant Connect-4 game, and trivia night once a week I think. They serve food, and there's a small outdoor area. We love coming here for a chill but fun time.
My first time in was a good experience. The food was decent. The drinks were nice. The music was OK. The crowd was awesome. The staff is great. Sharing a restroom with a drunk obnoxious man was not ideal but they say the woman's toilet should be fixed soon ??♀
One of my favorite bench dive bars. Geat food. Under new ownership. FYI, The New owner has increased food and beverage prices 20 percent.
I took my son there for his 21st birthday. We had lunch that was delicious. We ordered the open face meatloaf and open face prime rib. We will differently go back for lunch and drinks. The staff was great. Janet was there and made our feel right at home. Thank you Janet.
One of my favorite bars. It's not to small or to big. Love the atmosphere. There's also 4 pool tables and darts.
Always have a great time. The service was impeccable. Janet is the nicest. Met a couple of bar owners there. Now if other bar owners are hanging at your establishment that really says something.
This spot is deceiving from the parking lot. It is old and worn, but that is just part of the character. What you will find is a typical menu with some crazy twists on the recipes to create some of the most amazing eats ever, and many are rather on a healthy twist, like kale asian slaw. I honestly would give this a higher rating if I could. The staff are extremely welcoming. Regarding accessibility, once inside, the restaurant is open and accessible and the staff is very accomodating. The entry is fine but the parking is a bit tricky if you use mobility items. The parking spots are tight. But I was able to unload a walker and get in and out with no problem.. I did not visit the bathrooms.
